Altamont is a village located in the town of Guilderland in Albany County, New York. The village is in the western part of the town. The population was 1,720 at the 2010 census. The name means "high mountain."
Blackacre State Nature Preserve is a 271-acre (110 ha) nature preserve and historic homestead in Louisville, Kentucky. The preserve features rolling fields, streams, forests, and a homestead dating back to the 18th century. For visitors, the preserve features several farm animals including horses, goats, and cows, hiking trails, and a visitor's center in the 1844-built Presley Tyler home. Since 1981, it has been used by the Jefferson County Public Schools as the site of a continuing environmental education program. About 10,000 students visit the outdoor classroom each year.
The DeFreest Homestead is a historic house and barn located in the Rensselaer Technology Park in North Greenbush, New York, United States. The homestead and surrounding land are owned and managed by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. It was the original home of Philip DeFreest, one of the first Dutch settlers to arrive in the mid-18th century. The land includes historic buildings typical of a working Dutch farm: a farmhouse restored in 1984 to house the park's administrative offices, and a Dutch barn.
Red Mill Farm is a historic farm complex and national historic district located at Colosse in Oswego County, New York. The district includes a number of contributing structures; the farmhouse, tool shop, granary, horse barn, silo, garage, milkhouse, and windmill. The farmhouse was built about 1832 and is a three bay, two story frame building.
Conklin Farm is a historic farm complex located at Hounsfield in Jefferson County, New York. The farm complex consists of a 2 1⁄2-story gable-front double-farmhouse, horse barn, milk house, and garage. Also on the property are the ruins of a cow barn with attached silo and the ruins of a chicken coop.
Tracy Farm is an historic home and farm complex located at Orleans in Jefferson County, New York. The farmhouse was built about 1890 on an existing limestone foundation. The main 2-story part of the house is an L-shaped block with a 1 1⁄2-story kitchen ell extending off the rear elevation. Also on the property are an original late-19th-century horse and buggy barn, cow barn, wooden silo, the original farmhouse dating to 1860, and the remains of an iron windmill and pump.
Rowe-Lant Farm is a historic home and farm complex located at East Chatham in Columbia County, New York. The farmhouse was built about 1790 and is an L-shaped dwelling with a 2-story, brick main block and 1 1⁄2-story brick and frame wing. It is five bays wide and two bays deep with a gable roof. Also on the property is a large timber-frame barn, garage and horse barn, and large tractor barn.
McNiven Farm Complex is a historic home and barn complex located at Guilderland in Albany County, New York. The original house was built about 1790 and is a small Dutch house that is located to the rear of the present structure. A substantial addition was completed in the mid-19th century. It is a two-story, five bay wide farmhouse with a center entrance and gable roof. Also on the property is a vernacular barn complex.
The Craver Farmstead was established circa 1790 consisting of 225 acres with a farmhouse and a barn. Today, the Craver Farmstead is both architecturally and historically significant. The farmhouse was built prior to 1790 and stands as one of the oldest and best preserved examples of Federal-style architecture in upstate New York. The Federal style evolved as the dominant classicizing architecture in North America between 1780 and1830 as the new republic of the United States sought to define itself as independent in literature, art, and architecture just as it was politically.
Henry Tunis Smith Farm, also known as the Middlebrook Farm, is a historic farmhouse located at Nassau in Rensselaer County, New York. The house was built in 1789 in the Federal style. It consists of a 1 1⁄2-story main block, five bays wide, with a 1-story, three-bay wing. The front facade features a finely detailed frieze.
Elmbrook Farm is a historic farm complex located at Schodack in Rensselaer County, New York. The farmhouse itself was built about 1830 and modified about twenty years later to include Greek Revival architecture. The complex also includes a barn, a shop / office, a milk shed, a corn crib, a cinder block garage, and a small family burial plot.
The Parker–Hutchinson Farm is a historic farm property on Parker Bridge Road in Coventry, Connecticut. It includes the Samuel Parker House which dates from 1850. The significance of the property is not for the architecture of its farmhouse, but rather as a remarkably intact site where a number of small-scale industrial enterprises were conducted. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
Levan Farm, also known as the Issac Levan Tract and Jacob Levan Farm, is a historic house and farm complex located in Exeter Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. The house was built in 1837, and is a two-story, five bay by two bay, stone dwelling in the Georgian style. It is built of fieldstone with light colored and red sandstone quoins. It has a later 1 1/2-story rear addition. Also on the property are a stone and wood frame bank barn, spring house, lime kilns, granary, corn crib, and wagon shed. The Levan Farm was established by Isaac Levan about 1730 on a land grant from William Penn.
The Faunce–McMichael Farm, also known as the James Cosset McMichael Farm or the William H. and Shirley A. Billings Farm, is a farm located at 11126 M68 in Burt Lake, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
The Nutting Homestead is a historic farm complex on Maine State Route 121, south of the center of Otisfield, Maine. The property has been owned by the Nutting family and its descendants since the late 18th century, and exemplifies the adaptive use of farm properties over time. The oldest portion of the farmhouse dates to 1796, and other buildings in the complex date mainly to the 19th century. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
The Stone Barn Farm is one of a small number of surviving farm properties on Mount Desert Island off the coast of Maine. Located at the junction of Crooked Road and Norway Drive, the farm has a distinctive stone barn, built in 1907, along with a c. 1850 Greek Revival farm house and carriage barn. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001, and is subject to a conservation easement held by the Maine Coast Heritage Trust.

Cartin–Snyder–Overacker Farmstead is a historic farm located at Melrose, Rensselaer County, New York. The farmstead includes a number of contributing outbuildings. The farmhouse was built in 1974 to replace one burned that year. The contributing resources include the outhouse, garage, ice house, milk house, chicken house, threshing barn, tool barn, horse barn, and rabbit house.
Coletti–Rowland–Agan Farmstead is a historic farm and national historic district located at Pittstown, Rensselaer County, New York. The farm property consists of an East Farm and a West Farm. The East Farm includes a house, shop barn, tractor shed, hen house, dairy barn, horse barn, oat barn, and tool barn The West Farm farmhouse was about 1870, and has a 2 1/2-story, Greek Revival style main block with two 1 1/2-story additions. Also on the property are the contributing shed, horse barn, garage, main barn group, milk house, oat house, and two corn cribs.
The Lovira Hart, Jr., and Esther Maria Parker Farm is a historic farmstead located at 9491 West Frankenmuth Road in Tuscola Township, Michigan. It was settled in 1836 and has been continuously owned by the same family since that time. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
