Leigh railway station was a railway station in Staffordshire, England.

The railway line between Stoke-on-Trent and Uttoxeter was opened by the North Staffordshire Railway (NSR) in 1848 [3] and a station to serve the village of Church Leigh was opened at the same time.

The station remained open until 1966 but goods facilities had been withdrawn in 1964. [2]

Biddulph railway station was a railway station opened by the North Staffordshire Railway in 1864. Originally named Gillow Heath the station was renamed Biddulph on 1 May 1897. The station was on the Biddulph Valley line that ran from a junction just north of Congleton on the Stoke-on-Trent – Macclesfield line to a junction south of Stoke-on-Trent station.

Bucknall and Northwood railway station was opened by the North Staffordshire Railway in 1864 to serve the Bucknall area of Stoke-on-Trent. Situated on the company's Biddulph Valley line, the station was served by passenger trains between Stoke and Congleton on the Biddulph Valley line and by trains between Stoke and Leek on the Stoke-Leek line. Passenger services on the Biddulph line ceased in 1927, but services on the Leek line continued until May 1956. After this date the station was still used for special and excursion trains until complete closure in 1962.

Wheelock & Sandbach railway station was built by the North Staffordshire Railway (NSR) to serve the Cheshire village of Wheelock. Originally conceived as a line between Stoke-upon-Trent and Liverpool, the short line from Lawton Junction to Ettiley Heath was opened as a goods traffic only line in 1852. Subsequently, the line was extended to join with the London and North Western Railway at Sandbach in 1866. Towards the end of the 19th century the NSR decided to introduce a passenger service on the line and Sandbach (Wheelock) railway station was opened in July 1893 as the terminus of the new service from Harecastle.
