HBO Latin America has distributed a number of original programs, including original series, specials, miniseries, documentaries and films. [1]

Contents

The first self-commissioned original content series was Epitafios , released in 2004, and the company has grown its original content in the region since that time. [2] All programming is organized by its primary genre or format, country of production and is sorted by premiere date.

Menudo is a Puerto Rican boy band which was formed in 1977 by producer Edgardo Díaz. Menudo was one of the biggest Latin boy bands in history, releasing their first album in 1977. Aside from airing Nick and Nick Jr. content, it has produced original programming for the channel and has been sold to local distributors worldwide except for Cuba as cable television is banned in that country.

Anitta (singer) Brazilian singer and songwriter

Larissa de Macedo Machado, better known by her stage name Anitta, is a Brazilian singer and songwriter. Due to the success of the song "Show das poderosas" released in 2013, she signed a contract with Warner Music Brazil the following year.

Ana Paula Arendt, pseudonym of R. P. Alencar, is a writer, a poet, and a Brazilian diplomat. She is an author of children books, of screenplays, and of poem collections in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, and other languages. She published Veritas Filia Mendacii Est and To Freedom. Among her most recent works are the awarded play in classical verse The Constituent, the awarded epithalamium "The Venerable Virtues of Man", Poetry reunited (2014-2018), among other books. Downtown (Anitta and J Balvin song) 2017 single by Anitta and J Balvin

"Downtown" is a song by Brazilian singer Anitta and Colombian singer J Balvin fully sung in Spanish, despite its title being in English. It was written by Anitta and Balvin together with Justin Quiles and producer Sky Rompiendo. The song was released as a single on 19 November 2017 as part of Anitta's project entitled Check Mate, in which she released a new song each month. The track was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award for Best Urban Song at the 19th Latin Grammy Awards.

Patrícia Campos Mello Brazilian journalist

Patrícia Campos Mello is a Brazilian journalist. She works at Folha de S.Paulo as a news reporter and columnist. In 2020, she received the Maria Moors Cabot Award, from Columbia University. In 2019, she received the International Press Freedom Award from the Committee to Protect Journalists. In 2018, she received the King of Spain International Journalism Award. And in 2020 she was awarded the Ordre National du Mérite by the government of France. In 2016, she received the Troféu Mulher Imprensa award.

O Negócio is a Brazilian drama television series created by Luca Paiva Mello and Rodrigo Castilho, and written by Fabio Danesi, Camila Raffanti and Alexandre Soares Silva. It was produced by HBO Latin America in partnership with Mixer.

HBO Max American subscription video streaming service

HBO Max is an American subscription-based video on demand service owned by AT&T's WarnerMedia, through its WarnerMedia Direct subsidiary. The service was launched in the United States on May 27, 2020, in Latin America and the Caribbean on June 29, 2021, and in Andorra, Spain, and the Nordic countries on October 26, 2021. While built around content from the namesake pay television service HBO, HBO Max principally serves as a content hub for WarnerMedia's various film and television properties. It offers a range of original programming and library content from the additional company content licensed through third-party distributors.

Amarres is a Spanish-language comedy-drama web series created by Fernanda Eguiarte and directed by Marcelo Tobar that premiered on HBO Max on 12 August 2021. The series, produced by WarnerMedia Latin America, Dopamine and Turner Broadcasting System Latin America, is considered the first Latin American program made for HBO Max to be released after the arrival of HBO Max in Latin America on 29 June 2021. It was also scheduled to be released in the second quarter of 2020 on TNT Latin America. It stars Gabriela de la Garza, Hugo Catalán, and Juan Pablo Medina. The series consists of 10 episodes of 45 minutes.

Kevin Kawan de Azevedo, better known as Kevinho, is a Brazilian singer and songwriter. He is best known for his 2017 "Olha a Explosão". His music is most commonly classified as funk carioca.

Maneva is a Brazilian reggae band from São Paulo.
