Mindanao is the second-largest island in the Philippines, after Luzon, and seventh-most populous island in the world. It opened on November 15, 2002 with a total gross floor area of 99,837 square meters (1,074,640 sq ft) on a 5.2-hectare (13-acre) land.
Cagayan de Oro (CDO), officially the City of Cagayan de Oro, is a 1st class highly urbanized city in the region of Northern Mindanao, Philippines. It is the capital of the province of Misamis Oriental where it is geographically situated but governed administratively independent from the provincial government. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 728,402 people. Cagayan de Oro also serves as the regional center and business hub of Northern Mindanao, and part of the growing Metropolitan Cagayan de Oro area, which includes the city of El Salvador, the towns of Opol, Alubijid, Laguindingan, Gitagum, Lugait, Naawan, Initao, Libertad and Manticao at the western side, and the towns of Tagoloan, Villanueva, Jasaan, Claveria and Balingasag at the eastern side.

Robinsons Iligan, is a shopping mall located along Macapagal Avenue in Iligan. It is owned and operated by Robinsons Land Corporation, one of the largest mall operators in the Philippines. The mall opened on July 26, 2017. The mall is the first Robinsons Mall in the province of Lanao del Norte, and the 45th in the Philippines. It is also the first stand-alone Robinsons Mall in Northern Mindanao prior to Robinsons Cagayan de Oro that is located inside Limketkai Center. At Home with GMA Regional TV was a 2020 Philippine television news broadcasting show broadcast by GMA Davao and GMA Cagayan de Oro. Originally hosted by Rgil Relator, Cyril Chaves and Atty. Resci Rizada, it premiered on June 1, 2020, on the network's morning lineup every Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM. The program concluded on January 26, 2024 due to low ratings and decline viewership. Chaves, Kent Abrigana, Abbey Caballero and Krissa Dapitan serve as the final hosts.
