Iloilo City, the regional capital of Western Visayas (Region VI) in the Philippines, has seen many developments invested in by the major players in real estate, such as condominiums, hotels, BPOs, and other infrastructure projects, since the beginning of the 21st century.
The district of Mandurriao is home to a significant concentration of high-rise structures within the city. Prominent locations within Mandurriao, including the Iloilo Business Park, Atria Park District, and Sen. Benigno S. Aquino Jr. Avenue, showcase the notable presence of these tall buildings. Additionally, other districts such as City Proper, Jaro, and Molo also feature high-rise developments. The surrounding towns in the metropolitan area, namely Pavia, Oton, and Santa Barbara, are also actively constructing mixed-use developments that will contribute to the growing skyline of Metro Iloilo. This list ranks the high-rise buildings in Metro Iloilo. This includes spires and architectural details, but does not include antenna masts. The rankings are based on the buildings' total height. The 18-storey, SM Strata Tower 1, is currently the tallest building in Iloilo, standing at 84 meters. It will soon be dethroned by the 33-storey Terranza Residences in downtown Iloilo City, with a height of 116 meters. [2]

Iloilo City, officially the City of Iloilo, is a 1st class highly urbanized city in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines, located on the southeastern coast of the island of Panay. It is the capital city of the province of Iloilo, where it is geographically situated and grouped under the Philippine Statistics Authority, but remains politically independent in terms of government and administration. In addition, it is the center of the Iloilo–Guimaras Metropolitan Area, as well as the regional center and primate city of the Western Visayas region. According to the 2020 census, Iloilo City has a population of 457,626 people. For the metropolitan area, the total population is 1,007,945 people.
Mandurriao Airport(IATA: ILO, ICAO: RPVI), also known as Iloilo Airport during its operation, was an airport that served the area of Iloilo City and the province of Iloilo in the Philippines. The airport was located five kilometers northwest of downtown Iloilo City in the district of Mandurriao. It was the fourth-busiest airport overall and the busiest domestic airport in the Philippines, accommodating over 700,000 passengers and over 5,000 tons of cargo in 2005. During the construction of the new Iloilo International Airport, it was also known as Iloilo–Mandurriao Airport.
Mandurriao is a district in Iloilo City, in the province of Iloilo, on the island of Panay, in the Western Visayas region, in the Philippines. It is the second-largest district by land area as well as the third-most populous district, with 62,240 people in the 2020 census. Mandurriao has emerged as the focal point of urban development in Iloilo City, gaining recognition as the future commercial and financial center, surpassing Iloilo City Proper.
The World Trade Center Abu Dhabi is a complex of two skyscrapers in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Construction of these towers was scheduled to end in 2010, though the 2008 financial crisis pushed the project completion date to 2014. The complex includes two malls, and one Courtyard by Marriott hotel. The complex was initially planned to house three skyscrapers, but the 2008 crisis forced the contractors to withdraw construction of the Hotel Tower, the result being two skyscrapers.
The Petron Megaplaza is an office skyscraper located in Makati, Philippines. It previously held the title as the tallest building in the Philippines from 1998 to 2000 when the PBCom Tower was topped-off. It currently holds the title as the 5th tallest building in Makati, and the 9th-tallest building in the country and Metro Manila as well. It has a total ground to architectural spire top height of 210 meters, soaring at 45 storeys high.
Megaworld Corporation is a real-estate company in the Philippines. It is listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange Composite Index. The company develops large-scale, mixed-use, planned communities incorporating residential, commercial, educational, and leisure components. In addition, it provides other services such as project design, construction oversight, and property management. Among its landmark projects is Forbes Town Center, a 6-hectare commercial and residential district in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig, Metro Manila. Another project by Megaworld is the 45-storey Petron Megaplaza office skyscraper, which was the tallest building in the country upon its completion in 1998. Also, last May 31, 2016, Megaworld announced that they will build two more office towers, 10-storey One Republic Plaza, and six-storey Emperador House, in Davao City. The two towers will provide an additional 30,000 sqm of office spaces for lease.
Iloilo Business Park (IBP), also known just as Megaworld among the locals, is a 72-hectare (180-acre) mixed-use master-planned central business district in Mandurriao, Iloilo City, Philippines by Megaworld Corporation. It is located on the site of Iloilo's former airport, Mandurriao Airport, which the conglomerate acquired for 1.2 Billion Pesos from the Philippine national government. Megaworld is projected to pour in ₱25 Billion for the entire development in a span of years. It is an integrated township project featuring a commercial district, a lifestyle mall, office buildings catering to business process outsourcing firms, boutique and deluxe hotels, and a convention center.
Injap Tower Hotel is a 21-storey residential building and hotel located in Sen. Benigno Aquino Jr. Avenue, Mandurriao, Iloilo City beside SM City Iloilo. Since its completion in 2013, it has been the tallest building in Iloilo City until 2018, when it was dethroned by the nearby 18-storey high-rise twin tower, SM Strata Tower 1, which is just 9 meters taller. Injap Tower was also the tallest building in the Western Visayas region for the same years. It is the region's tallest hotel, and currently the third tallest building in Iloilo.
Iloilo City is a conglomeration of former cities and towns in the Philippines, which are now the geographical or administrative districts (boroughs) composed of seven: Arevalo, City Proper, Jaro, La Paz, Lapuz, Mandurriao, and Molo. All administrative districts are divisions of the lone congressional district of Iloilo City, and each is composed of barangays (barrios), with a total of 180 city barangays.
