Central Plaza is a 78-storey, 374 m (1,227 ft) skyscraper at 18 Harbour Road, in Wan Chai on Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. Completed in August 1992, it is the third tallest tower in the city after 2 International Finance Centre in Central and the International Commerce Centre in West Kowloon. It was the tallest building in Asia from 1992 to 1996, until the Shun Hing Square was built in Shenzhen, a neighbouring city. Central Plaza surpassed the Bank of China Tower as the tallest building in Hong Kong until the completion of 2 IFC.
Alain Robert is a French rock climber and urban climber. Nicknamed "the French Spider-Man" or "the Human Spider", Robert carries out free solo climbs of skyscrapers using no climbing equipment except for a small bag of chalk and a pair of climbing shoes.
First Canadian Place is a skyscraper in the Financial District of Toronto, Ontario, at the northwest corner of King and Bay streets, and serves as the global operational executive office of the Bank of Montreal. At 298 m (978 ft), it is the tallest building in Canada, the 34th tallest building in North America, and the 243rd tallest in the world. It is also the third tallest free-standing structure in Canada, after the CN Tower and the Inco Superstack chimney in Sudbury, Ontario. The building is owned by Manulife Financial Corporation in addition to a private consortium of investors including CPP Investments. The building is managed by Brookfield Properties.
Merdeka 118, formerly known as Menara Warisan Merdeka, KL 118 and PNB 118, is a 118-story megatall skyscraper in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. At 678.9 m (2,227 ft) tall, it is the second-tallest building and structure in the world, only behind the Burj Khalifa at 829.8 m (2,722 ft).
The Tradewinds Square Tower was a proposed megatall skyscraper located along Jalan Sultan Ismail in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The building was in planning stage with Tradewinds Corporation Berhad as the developer. It would have stood at a height of 608 m (1,995 ft) with 110 floors. It was expected to be completed in 2022, but construction was halted in 2018.
Permata Sapura Tower is a skyscraper located at the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The skyscraper has a height of 252.5 metres with 53 floors. The construction of the skyscraper was completed in 2020 and is currently among the tallest skyscrapers in Malaysia.
Vortex Towers, or Vortex Hotel Suites & Residences is a 58-storey, 235 m (771 ft) tall residential skyscraper located at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Construction of the skyscraper began in 2014 and was completed in 2016. The construction project was developed by Monoland Corporation, a Malaysian-based property developer that was previously involved in other skyscraper projects in Penang, notably 8 Gurney. The development consists of 248 apartment units.
