The Malone Freight Depot is a historic railroad freight depot located at Malone in Franklin County, New York. It was built about 1852 by the Northern Railroad, and is a one-story, rectangular sandstone building with a low-pitched gable roof. It measures approximately 40 feet by 120 feet. [2]

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. [1]

Lisbon Railroad Depot

Lisbon Railroad Depot is a historic railway station located at Lisbon in St. Lawrence County, New York. Lisbon was first served with a station in the 1850s by the Ogdensburg and Lake Champlain Railroad. The current building was built in 1930 as the second reconstruction of a railway depot at Lisbon by the Rutland Railway. It is a one-story, frame building, measuring 23 feet by 68 feet with a hipped roof and wide overhanging eaves. It closed as a depot in 1961 and is now the town museum.

North Creek station

North Creek station is a historic railroad station complex located at North Creek, Warren County, New York. The complex consists of the railroad station, the freight house, round house, turntable, and horse barn. The station was built in 1874 and is a simple, rectangular, gable roofed building with a broad, overhanging strut-supported roof in the Stick-Eastlake style. Its exterior is covered with vertical boards.

Quakertown station Historic train station

The Quakertown Passenger and Freight Station is a historic train station and freight depot located at Quakertown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The two buildings were designed by Wilson Bros. & Company in 1889 and built by Cramp and Co. for the Philadelphia and Reading Railroad in 1902. The passenger station is constructed of dark Rockhill granite and Indiana limestone and is in a Late Victorian style. It is 1 1/2 stories tall and measures 25 feet wide by 97 feet, 6 inches, long. It has a hipped roof with an eight-foot overhang. The freight station is a 1 1/2-story, rectangular stone block building measuring 128 feet by 30 feet. Also on the property is a large crane that was used for freight movement. The Quakertown station had passenger rail service along the Bethlehem Line to Bethlehem and Philadelphia until July 27, 1981, when SEPTA ended service on all its intercity diesel-powered lines. SEPTA still owns the line and leases it to the East Penn Railroad. Other towns, stations, and landmarks on the Bethlehem Line are Perkasie, Pennsylvania, Perkasie Tunnel, and Perkasie station.

The Victor Railroad Depot is a two-story building located in Victor, Idaho which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

The Tennessee and Alabama Railroad Freight Depot was a historic property dating from c.1858 in Franklin, Tennessee that was evaluated for its historic merit and deemed eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. It was not however listed due to owner objection. It has also been known as the Louisville and Nashville Railroad Freight Depot. Its NRHP reference number for the evaluation was 00000231.

Chesterton station (New York Central Railroad) Train station in Chesterton, Indiana

Chesterton is a disused train station in Chesterton, Indiana. The current depot replaced a wooden structure built in 1852 for the Northern Indiana and Chicago Railroad, a predecessor road of the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railway, that burned down in 1913. It was rebuilt in 1914 as a brick structure. By 1914, Cornelius Vanderbilt of the New York Central and Hudson River Railroad held a majority interest in the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railway. The Southern Railways trackage provided an ideal extension of the New York Central from Buffalo to Chicago. On December 22, 1914, the New York Central and Hudson River Railroad merged with the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railway to form a new New York Central Railroad.

The Missouri-Pacific Depot, Altus is a historic railroad station on United States Route 64 in Altus, Arkansas. It is a long rectangular single-story wood-frame structure, finished in stucco, with a gable-on-hip roof with broad eaves. It was built in 1920 by the Missouri-Pacific Railroad, and served as both a passenger and freight depot. It is representative of the town's early history as a railroad town.

Sac City Chicago and North Western Depot United States historic place

The Sac City Chicago and North Western Depot is a historic building located in Sac City, Iowa, United States. The city was platted in 1855, and soon after they began to campaign for a rail line into the town. It took 23 years before the railroad arrived. The Maple River Railroad was the first to lay tracks in Sac County in 1877, but it went to Wall Lake rather than Sac City. The Sac City & Wall Lake Railroad was formed that year and the tracks were laid between the two towns in 1878. The Chicago & North Western Railroad acquired the line in 1884, and built a two-story frame depot in Sac City. The business district grew up around the depot. In 1916 the Chicago & North Western replaced the frame depot with this single story brick depot a block to the south. It was a combination depot, passenger and freight, that utilized Chicago & North Western's Number One standard plan.

P.C.C. & St. L. Railroad Freight Depot United States historic place

P. C. C. & St. L. Railroad Freight Depot, also known as the Central Union Warehouse, was a historic freight depot located at Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana. It was built in 1916 by the Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railroad. It was a one-story, brick warehouse building measuring 790 feet long and 70 feet wide. It has been demolished.

Saline station United States historic place

The Saline station, also known as the Detroit, Hillsdale and Indiana Railroad-Saline Depot, is a former railroad depot located at 402 North Ann Arbor Street in Saline, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994. The building now houses the Saline Depot Museum.
