Manion's General Store is a historic general store and post office located at Ferndale in Sullivan County, New York. It was built before 1908 and is a large, frame building. It is two and one half stories tall, five bays wide and three bays deep, with a gable roof and deep overhanging eaves. It is built into a hillside and has a stone foundation. The store operated into the 1970s and the post office to the 1980s. [2]

It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. [1]

It was built in 1935-1936, and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, Louis A. Simon. It is one story in front and two stories in the rear with and exposed basement. It is constructed of brick on a raised concrete foundation and limestone watercourse and beltcourse. The principal facade is symmetrically composed with a three bay pedimented central section faced entirely with ashlar limestone. The building displays Colonial Revival style details. The interior features a 1938 sculpture by artist Bela Janowsky depicting James Fenimore Cooper and two characters from his writings, Chingachgook and Natty Bumpo.

Reilly's Store is a historic general store located at Cochecton in Sullivan County, New York. It was built about 1860 and is a 2-story, wooden, three-by-six-bay, gable-fronted building of post and beam construction. The first floor was occupied by a store and the second was for residential use. Owned throughout the 20th century by J.W. Dermody, and later Frank P. and Katherine Reilly, the general store ran until Mr. Reilly's death in 1957. In the early 1990s, the building was purchased and restored by Bob and Mary Ann White, who owned and operated Reilly's Ice Cream Parlor and Museum from 1994 til September 5, 2000.

Wayside Cottage is a historic home located at Scarsdale, Westchester County, New York. The earliest part of the house was built about 1720 and is the four-bay-wide, two-bay-deep, 1+12-story south section. It sits on a fieldstone foundation and has a gable roof and verandah with Doric order piers. The center section of the house was built in 1828 and it is a 2+12-story, three-bay-wide structure with a gable roof and sheathed in clapboard. A third section is known as the "caretaker's quarters" and was built in the late 19th century. It is two stories high, three bays wide, and two bays deep. A wing was added to this section in 1928. The house underwent a major restoration in 1953–1954. Since 1919, it has been owned by the Junior League of Central Westchester. It was also where Scarsdale Public Library used to be.

J. Kurtz and Sons Store Building is a historic commercial building in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens in New York City. It was built in 1931 and is a six-story, steel-frame building with two decorated sides in the Art Deco style. It is three bays by six bays and features a metal-framed windows with stepped pylon motif rising through all four floors. They are of cast aluminum with geometric designs. It was built to house a franchise of the J. Kurtz and Sons furniture store, founded by Jacob Kurtz in 1870.

The Hamilton Grange Branch of the New York Public Library is a historic library building located in Hamilton Heights, Manhattan, New York City. It was designed by McKim, Mead & White and built in 1905–1906. The branch was one of 65 built by the New York Public Library with funds provided by the philanthropist Andrew Carnegie, 11 of them designed by McKim, Mead & White. It is a three-story-high, five-bay-wide building faced in deeply rusticated gray limestone in an Italian Renaissance style. It was built in 1827, and is a 1 1/2-story, two room, gable front frame building. With the construction of the new store in 1894, the old store was converted to storage space. The store closed in 1952.

Cana Store and Post Office is a historic general store and post office building located near Mocksville, Davie County, North Carolina. It was built about 1875, and is a two-story, three-bay, frame building with a gable roof. The front facade features a broad hip-roofed frame canopy added in the 1930s that serves as a porte-cochere.
