Montour Falls Union Grammar School is a historic elementary school building located at Montour Falls in Schuyler County, New York. It was built in 1929, and is a two-story, "T"-shaped, Classical Revival style steel frame and brick building over a full basement. It features a Collegiate Gothic Tudor-arched opening flanked by buttresses and a stepped parapet. The school was closed in 1965, and has been rehabilitated into apartments and a day care. [2] :3, 12 In 1965, the property was subsequently taken over by the County and has been known as the Rural Urban Center, housing County offices until 2008. It has been lovingly restored to include eight residential units and professional spaces. [3] Nevertheless, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. [1]

Herschell Carousel Factory Museum is a historic carousel factory building located at North Tonawanda in Niagara County, New York. The factory complex was constructed between about 1910 and 1915 and consists of six primary structures and five contributory additions. The primary structures are: the Mill Building, Carving and Pattern shop, Paint Shop and Storage Building, Roundhouse, Machine Shop (1915), and Assembly and Testing Building (1915). Also on the property is the Number One Special Three Abreast portable carousel, built in 1916.

Union Station (Lockport, New York)

Union Station is a historic train station located at Lockport in Niagara County, New York. It was constructed in 1889, for the New York Central Railroad in the Romanesque style. It was deactivated as a station in the 1940s and lay unused until 1967. It was renovated and reopened as a restaurant in 1971. The restaurant was gutted by fire in December 1974, rebuilt and again destroyed by fire in 1978.

It was built in 1903, and rebuilt in 1924 and added to the existing gymnasium structure, and designed by local architect Simon Larke, who also designed the James G. Marshall House. The original structure is in the Neoclassical revival style. An addition was constructed in 1963.

Stevens & Company and is an early 20th-century high class apartment building modestly styled in the Second Renaissance Revival mode. It is a ten-story, concrete framed masonry building built of cream colored brick with light stone detail in a "T" shaped layout. Also on the property is a two-story former carriage house. It was converted from apartments to condominiums in 1977.

It was built in 1927–1928, and is a two-story, 14-by-5-bay, buff-colored brick building with Classical Revival detailing. It has a flat roof, limestone trim, a partially exposed finished basement, and rear ell. It features a pedimented central entry portico and arched first floor windows. It remained in use by the city schools until 2007.

Herschell–Spillman Motor Company Complex United States historic place

Herschell–Spillman Motor Company Complex, also known as the Remington Rand, Inc. Complex, is a historic daylight factory complex located at North Tonawanda, Niagara County, New York. The original section was built about 1895 as the powerhouse for the Buffalo and Niagara Falls Electric Railway. Later reinforced concrete and brick factory additions were made for the Herschell Spillman Company in about 1913, 1917, 1920, and 1920–1921. These include a four-story, section and additions made to earlier buildings to raise them to four stories and form an "L"-shaped complex. Also on the property is a five-story water tower. Herschell Spillman occupied the plant until it was sold to Remington Rand in 1925. Remington Rand continued operations at the factory until about 1965. The buildings have been renovated into loft apartments.

Nott Street School United States historic place

Nott Street School is a historic school building located at Schenectady, Schenectady County, New York. It was originally built in 1877 as a four-room school, with an eight classroom addition completed in 1909. It is a two-story, red brick building above a stone and concrete raised basement. The exterior has been painted since at least 1952. The building was used as a school until 1942, and has since been used for offices.
