The Wallkill Valley Rail Trail is a 22.5-mile (36.2 km) rail trail and linear park that runs along the former Wallkill Valley Railroad rail corridor in Ulster County, New York. It stretches from Gardiner through New Paltz, Rosendale and Ulster to the Kingston city line, just south of a demolished, concrete Conrail railroad bridge that was located on a team-track siding several blocks south of the also-demolished Kingston New York Central Railroad passenger station. The trail is separated from the Walden–Wallkill Rail Trail by two state prisons in Shawangunk, though there have been plans to bypass these facilities and to connect the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail with other regional rail-trails. The northern section of the trail forms part of the Empire State Trail.
Ashokan Bridge is a wooden covered bridge over Esopus Creek on the grounds of the Ashokan Center, in Ulster County. It was built in 1885, and is a single span, gable roofed, covered timber bridge. It measures 72 feet, 6 inches, long and 16 feet, 4 inches, wide. It was originally located at Turnwood and moved to its present location in 1939. It is situated in the Ashokan Center, which was formerly the Ashokan Field Campus of the State University of New York at New Paltz.
The John A. Lafevre House and School is located along NY 208 in the town of Gardiner, New York, United States. It is often believed to be in New Paltz as it is within that town's ZIP Code. The house is a stone structure dating to 1772; the school was built in 1835 and remained in use for almost a century. Both are well-preserved examples of their type of building and were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
The Downtown Albany Historic District is a 19-block, 66.6-acre (27.0 ha) area of Albany, New York, United States, centered on the junction of State and North and South Pearl streets. It is the oldest settled area of the city, originally planned and settled in the 17th century, and the nucleus of its later development and expansion. In 1980 it was designated a historic district by the city and then listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Dwight Street Historic District is an irregularly shaped 135-acre (55 ha) historic district in New Haven, Connecticut. The district is located immediately west of the center of Downtown New Haven and is generally bounded by Elm Street on the north, Park Street on the east, North Frontage Road on the south, and Sherman Avenue on the west. It contains one of the city's highest concentrations of well-preserved 19th and early 20th-century residential architecture, much of which was developed for the working classes in the city's factories. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The historic district includes most of the Dwight neighborhood and several blocks of the northeast corner of the West River neighborhood.
Liberty Downtown Historic District is a historic district located at Liberty in Sullivan County, New York. The district includes 112 contributing buildings and comprises the village's commercial core. It subsumes the Liberty Village Historic District listed in 1978, which had 12 contributing buildings.
There are 73 properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Albany, New York, United States. Six are additionally designated as National Historic Landmarks (NHLs), the most of any city in the state after New York City. Another 14 are historic districts, for which 20 of the listings are also contributing properties. Two properties, both buildings, that had been listed in the past but have since been demolished have been delisted; one building that is also no longer extant remains listed.
Dansville Downtown Historic District is a national historic district located at Dansville in Livingston County, New York. The district consists of the highly intact three block commercial core of Dansville. It includes 50 contributing buildings, mainly brick and commercial in character. They were constructed between about 1835 and about 1900, and are two or three stories in height. Within the district are the separately listed US Post Office-Dansville and Shepard Memorial Library.
Court Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Binghamton in Broome County, New York. The district includes 87 contributing buildings and encompasses the historic downtown core of downtown Binghamton. The majority of the contributing structures are commercial buildings built between about 1840 and 1939. Ten and twelve story office buildings built in the 20th century are prominent features of the district. Located within the boundaries of the district are the separately listed Broome County Courthouse and Binghamton City Hall.
Oneonta Downtown Historic District is a national historic district located at Oneonta in Otsego County, New York. It encompasses 64 contributing buildings and one contributing site. It encompasses the city's intact commercial and civic core and includes commercial buildings, six churches, the city's historic civil buildings, a few industrial buildings, and a small park. The district includes several separately listed buildings: the Masonic Temple, Old Post Office, Municipal Building, Ford Block, and Oneonta Theatre.

South Salina Street Downtown Historic District is a historic district representing what was the commercial core of in Syracuse, New York from the mid-nineteenth century to the mid-twentieth century. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 16, 2009. The vacancy rate in the district is high, and some buildings need extensive rehabilitation. Recent revitalization plans served as impetus for seeking listing on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Tecumseh Historic District is a residential historic district located in the city of Tecumseh in Lenawee County, Michigan, United States. It was designated as a Michigan Historic Site and added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 13, 1984. On May 18, 1990, the district received a boundary expansion, which required an additional listing on the National Register of Historic Places.
New Paltz is a village in Ulster County located in the U.S. state of New York. It is approximately 80 miles (130 km) north of New York City and 70 miles (110 km) south of Albany. The population was 7,324 at the 2020 census.
The Donahue Building is a historic building located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. In 2020 it was included as a contributing property in the Davenport Downtown Commercial Historic District.
Warsaw Downtown Historic District is a national historic district located at Warsaw in Wyoming County, New York. The district encompasses 36 contributing buildings in the village of Warsaw. They are a variety of commercial, institutional, and religious buildings with most built between the 1870s and 1915. A number of commercial buildings were constructed after the fires of 1867 and 1887. They include the Andrew Jackson Warner designed United Church of Warsaw (1860s), First Baptist Church (1889), Bartlett Block, Hostetter's Pharmacy, New Watkin's Hotel Sullivan Building (1915), Wyoming County Bank, Glover's Department Store, Gardner's Grocery, Pratt Grocery, Farman-Humphrey Block (1884), Lincoln Block, and Schwab's Motor Sales. Located in the district and separately listed are the Warsaw Academy and United States Post Office.
The Former Eldora Public Library is a historic building located in Eldora, Iowa, United States. On December 30, 1901, the Carnegie Foundation agreed to grant the community $10,000 to build a new library building. The Chicago architectural firm of Patton & Miller designed it in the Renaissance Revival style, and it was dedicated on May 11, 1903. The single-story, brick structure is somewhat rare in that its plan is an asymmetrical massing of intersecting gables. The entrance pavilion is located at the intersection of the two masses. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. In 2010 it was included as a contributing property in the Eldora Downtown Historic District in 2010. The library has subsequently moved to a new facility, and this building has been converted for commercial use.
