Miller Place is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County, New York, United States, on the North Shore of Long Island. Miller Place has been inhabited since the 17th century and is named for the Miller family that included many of its initial settlers. For most of its history, the community functioned as an agriculture-based society. Despite preserving much of its historic identity, changes in the 20th century have transitioned the hamlet into a desirable and densely populated suburban area. The population was 11,723 at the 2020 census.

The Jefferson Market Branch of the New York Public Library, once known as the Jefferson Market Courthouse, is a National Historic Landmark located at 425 Avenue of the Americas, on the southwest corner of West 10th Street, in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, New York City, on a triangular plot formed by Greenwich Avenue and West 10th Street. It was originally built as the Third Judicial District Courthouse from 1874 to 1877, and was designed by architect Frederick Clarke Withers of the firm of Vaux and Withers.

The majority of the buildings were constructed during the first century of European-American settlement, 1801 to 1900.
Village of Antwerp Historic District is a national historic district located at Antwerp in Jefferson County, New York. The district includes 241 contributing buildings, four contributing sites, one contributing structure, and one contributing object. It encompasses most of the village and includes residential, commercial, civic, and ecclesiastical buildings, a memorial park with monument, two cemeteries, and a stone arch bridge. Most of the buildings were built between 1840 and 1900.
First National Bank of Port Jefferson is a historic bank building located at Port Jefferson in Suffolk County, New York. It is a 2+1⁄2-story brick building with a 2-story turret that projects from the second story of the southwest corner and rises above the roof line. The turret has a steeply pitched, cone shaped slate roof and three windows on both levels. The main entrance to the building used to be directly below the turret, but was made into a window around 1949 when a 1-story brick, flat-roofed addition was built on the east side of the bank building. In 1948, the building ceased being used for a bank and was purchased by the Town of Brookhaven, who completed the 1-story addition the following year.
Bayles Shipyard is a historic shipyard located at Port Jefferson in Suffolk County, New York. It includes the 1897 Bayles Chandlery, the 1917 Machine Shop and Mould Loft and the 1917 Compressor House. The vicinity also contained a Mobil Oil Terminal.
