The Thermoprotei is a class of the Thermoproteota.
The Hyphomicrobiaceae are a family of bacteria. Among others, they include Rhodomicrobium, a genus of purple bacteria.
Campylobacterota are a phylum of Gram-negative bacteria. Until the 2021 revision of bacterial taxonomy by the ICSP, the entire phylum was classified within the Proteobacteria as the Epsilonproteobacteria and the Desulfurellales. The separation of this phylum from "Proteobacteria" was originally proposed in 2017, using GTDB-based methods.
In the taxonomy of microorganisms, the Methanomicrobiales are an order of the Methanomicrobia. Methanomicrobiales are strictly carbon dioxide reducing methanogens, using hydrogen or formate as the reducing agent. As seen from the phylogenetic tree based on 'The All-Species Living Tree' Project the family Methanomicrobiaceae is highly polyphyletic within the Methanomicrobiales.
'The All-Species Living Tree' Project is a collaboration between various academic groups/institutes, such as ARB, SILVA rRNA database project, and LPSN, with the aim of assembling a database of 16S rRNA sequences of all validly published species of Bacteria and Archaea. At one stage, 23S sequences were also collected, but this has since stopped.
The Cryptosporangiaceae are the only family of the order Cryptosporangiales, which is a part of the phylum Actinomycetota.
Thermonema is a Gram-negative, chemoheterotrophic and aerobic genus from the phylum Bacteroidota.
Odoribacteraceae is a Gram-negative, anaerobic and non-spore-forming family in the order of Bacteroidales.
Chitinophagaceae is an aerobic or facultatively anaerobic and rod-shaped family of bacteria in the phylum Bacteroidota.
Balneolales is an order of bacteria.
Hymenobacteraceae is a family of bacteria in the phylum Bacteroidota.
Persicobacteraceae is a family of bacteria in the phylum Bacteroidota.
Crocinitomicaceae is a family of bacteria in the order Flavobacteriales.
Isosphaeraceae is a family of bacteria.
Pirellulales is an order of bacteria.
Lacipirellulaceae is a family of bacteria.
The Pirellulaceae are a family of bacteria.
The Ignavibacteriales are an order of obligately anaerobic, non-photosynthetic bacteria that are closely related to the green sulfur bacteria.
The Blastocatellaceae is a family of bacteria.
Thermosipho is a genus of Gram-negative staining, anaerobic, and mostly thermophilic and hyperthermophilic bacteria in the family Thermotogaceae.
