The Park Avenue House is a high rise residential building located at 2305 Park Avenue in the Park Avenue Historic District in Downtown Detroit, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. It should not be confused with the nearby Park Avenue Hotel, which was demolished in 2015.
The Garrison Landing Historic District, also known as Garrison's Landing, is a small commercial and residential area located between what is now the Metro-North Hudson Line and the Hudson River in Garrison, New York, United States. Its buildings were mostly erected in the 1850s, around the time the Hudson River Railroad, later the New York Central, laid the tracks. Much of the construction was spearheaded by the president of a local ferry company to provide rental housing for local workers. His descendants lived in the area until the late 20th century and led efforts to preserve it, founding and helping to run two organizations for that purpose.
The Eagle Hotel is a historic hotel building at 110 North Main Street in Concord, New Hampshire. Built in 1851, it has been a prominent local landmark since then, and a meeting place for state politicians, given its location across the street from the New Hampshire State House. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
Caledonia House Hotel, also known as the Masonic Temple, is a historic hotel located at Caledonia in Livingston County, New York. It has a 3+1⁄2-story, symmetrical, five-by-three-bay main section with a 1+1⁄2-story wing. It was constructed in 1831–1833 of cut stone in the Federal style. The elegant center entrance, Palladian facade windows, and affiliated decorative woodwork are especially noteworthy. Built originally as a hotel and used as such through the 19th century, the structure now houses three commercial spaces on the first floor and the local masonic temple on the second and third floors and rear wing.
National Hotel is a historic hotel located at Cuylerville in Livingston County, New York. It is a large 2-story, seven-by-three-bay Federal / Greek Revival–style frame structure. It was built in 1841 and was reputedly a station on the Underground Railroad.
The Pioneer Building is a late nineteenth-century commercial/office structure located on Lawton Street in the Downtown business district of the City of New Rochelle in Westchester County, New York. The building is a good example of Neo-Italian Renaissance commercial style and represents an important aspect in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century history of New Rochelle. John New & Son, the New Rochelle builder responsible for its construction, is credited with its design. The Pioneer Building is considered significant, partly because other historic buildings that once surrounded it have been demolished and replaced by newer construction. It was added to the Westchester County Inventory of Historic Places on January 5, 1988, to the New York State Register of Historic Places on November 23, 1983, and to the National Register of Historic Places on December 29, 1983.
The Rockingham Hotel is a historic former hotel and contemporary condominium at 401 State Street in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, United States. Built in 1885, it is a prominent early example of Colonial Revival architecture, built in part in homage to Woodbury Langdon, whose 1785 home occupied the site. Langdon's home and the hotel both played host to leading figures of their day, and the hotel was one of the finest in northern New England. The hotel, now converted to condominiums, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
W. F. DeWitt Hotel is a historic hotel located at Durham in Greene County, New York. It was built about 1865, and is a 2 1/2-story, seven bay by three bay, frame building in the Italianate style. It rests on a stone foundation and has a moderately pitched gable roof. As of 2013, it was operating as an antiques store.
Thomas McLean House is a historic home in Battenville, New York, United States. It was built between about 1795 and 1867 and consists of a five-bay, two-story main block with two 1+1⁄2-story wings. Also on the property are two timber-frame barns, a 1-story commercial building, shed, and remains of a stone foundation. It is located across from the Stoops Hotel.
Arlington Hotel is a historic hotel located at Narrowsburg in Sullivan County, New York. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 31, 1983.
Spring House is a historic inn located at Barryville in Sullivan County, New York. It was built as a residence about 1880 and almost immediately enlarged as a hotel and boarding house. The original house is the 2-story main block with gable roof, a small south gable-roofed wing, and a two-by-two-bay rear wing. Long narrow wings were added shortly after the original construction. It is now configured as a long, narrow, rectangular building, two stories tall, eleven bays wide and two bays wide with a 2+1⁄2-story cross-gabled center section.
The W New York Union Square is a 270-room, 21-story boutique hotel operated by W Hotels at the northeast corner of Park Avenue South and 17th Street, across from Union Square in Manhattan, New York. Originally known as the Germania Life Insurance Company Building, it was designed by Albert D'Oench and Joseph W. Yost and built in 1911 in the Beaux-Arts style.
The Hotel Gerard, currently known as aka Times Square, is a historic hotel located in New York, New York. It had also operated at the Hotel Langwell and Hotel 1-2-3. The building was designed by George Keister and built in 1893. It is a 13-story, "U"-shaped, salmon colored brick and limestone building with German Renaissance style design elements. The front facade features bowed pairs of bay windows from the third to the sixth floor and the building is topped by steeply pointed front gables and a highly decorated dormer. It was originally built as an apartment hotel.
Roslyn House is a historic hotel located at Roslyn Heights in Nassau County, New York. It was built about 1870 and is a two-story Italianate style building. It is a rectangular, five-bay-wide frame building, clad in clapboards and set on a brick foundation. It has a hipped roof. It features a second-story porch along the front and south facades supported by Doric order columns.
Roslyn Savings Bank Building is a historic commercial building located at Roslyn in Nassau County, New York. It was originally built on the site of the former Roslyn Hotel in 1932, with additions dated to 1963 and 1980. The original structure consists of a one-story banking hall with a gable roof, with a two-story flat roofed office block in a Georgian Revival style. The original front facade is five bays wide with a center entrance and features an elaborate, pedimented stone surround.
Clifton Park Hotel is a historic hotel located at Clifton Park and Halfmoon in Saratoga County, New York. It was first erected in the 1820s and is a 2-story, timber-framed building sheathed in clapboards and topped by a gable roof. A massive, 2-story wood portico / piazza was added in the 1840s, along with a 1+1⁄2-story, two-bay, frame addition. The building was renovated in the 1880s and once featured a dance hall. The building exhibits a number of Greek Revival design features. It remained in commercial use into the 1970s.
The Green Shutter Hotel is a historic hotel building located in downtown Hayward in Alameda County, California, United States. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004, and is on the California Register of Historical Resources.
Tuckahoe High School is a historic high school located in Eastchester, Westchester County, New York. It was built in 1930–1931, and is a three-story brick building with Aztec-inspired cast stone trim in the Art Deco style. The front facade is composed of a three-story, nine bay central pavilion, deeply recessed two-story, five bay connecting wings, and projecting, identical, two-story, five bay end pavilions.
The Fire Station No. 11 in Atlanta, Georgia, at 30 North Ave., was built in 1907. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
The Edward S. Kearney House is a historic house located at 9 New Jersey Route 18 in the Westons Mills section of East Brunswick in Middlesex County, New Jersey. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 6, 1979, for its significance in architecture and commerce, one of only two historic taverns in the township.
