Collin County is located in the U.S. state of Texas. It is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington metropolitan statistical area, and a small portion of the city of Dallas is in the county. At the 2020 United States census, the county's population is 1,064,465, making it the sixth-most populous county in Texas and the 43rd-largest county by population in the United States. Its county seat is McKinney.

It is owned and operated by Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), whose buses mostly serve Plano-area hospitals such as the Presbyterian Hospital and the Medical Center of Plano. It is one of the few DART transit centers outside the Dallas County area.
Collin Creek Mall was a two-level, enclosed regional mall in Plano, Texas opened in 1981 and closed for redevelopment in 2019. It was located near the intersection of US 75 and President George Bush Turnpike. Since September 2019, the mall has been partially demolished with the central section planned to become part of a $1 billion mixed-use development, designed by Centurion American Development Group.

A split intersection is a rarely built at-grade variant of the diamond interchange. Compared to a conventional four-leg intersection or road crossing, the arterial road is split into separate carriageways by 200 to 300 feet, allowing a queue of left turning vehicles behind a completed turn into the crossroad without any conflict to oncoming traffic. On the crossroad, the four leg intersection is being replaced by two intersections. The beginning one-way traffic at the fourth leg makes the intersections reduce the number of conflicts similar to a three leg T-intersection to improve traffic flow.
Sargent is an unincorporated community in southern Texas County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community is adjacent to the Burlington Northern Railroad, approximately four miles southeast of Cabool. The Texas County-Howell county line is about two miles south of the location. Potter Creek flows past the east side of the community.
