Ashe Cottage, also known as the Ely House, is a historic Carpenter Gothic house in Demopolis, Alabama. It was built in 1832 and expanded and remodeled in the Gothic Revival style in 1858 by William Cincinnatus Ashe, a physician from North Carolina. The cottage is a 1 1⁄2-story wood-frame building, the front elevation features two semi-octagonal gabled front bays with a one-story porch inset between them. The gables and porch are trimmed with bargeboards in a design taken from Samuel Sloan's plan for "An Old English Cottage" in his 1852 publication, The Model Architect. The house is one of only about twenty remaining residential examples of Gothic Revival architecture remaining in the state. Other historic Gothic Revival residences in the area include Waldwic in Gallion and Fairhope Plantation in Uniontown. Ashe Cottage was added to the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage on August 22, 1975, and to the National Register of Historic Places on 19 October 1978.

Coulter Cottage is a historic cure cottage located at Saranac Lake, town of North Elba in Essex County, New York. It was built between 1897 and 1899 and is a 2 1⁄2-story wood-frame structure on a stone foundation and topped by a gambrel roof in the Shingle Style. It features a sitting out porch and four upper story sleeping porches. The house was designed by noted Adirondack area architect William L. Coulter (1865–1907).
Peyton Clark Cottage, also known as "Woodthorpe," is a historic cure cottage located at Saranac Lake, town of St. Armand in Essex County, New York. It was built in 1915 and is a 2 1⁄2-story rectangular structure with stucco siding and a gable roof and trimmed with green wood in the Tudor Revival style. It features two over/under cure porches running along the entire south side. A 1971 fire destroyed five bedrooms and the roof.
Marvin Cottage is a historic cure cottage located at Saranac Lake, town of North Elba in Essex County, New York. It was built about 1900 and is a two-story wood frame dwelling with a gable roof that extends from the front of the house to create a verandah. It features a large, gabled cure porch dormer and a second floor sleeping porch. It was operated as a private, non-nursing sanatorium.
Pittenger Cottage is a historic cure cottage located at Saranac Lake, town of North Elba in Essex County, New York. It was built about 1920 and is a two-story wood-frame dwelling with a small two-story wing and a verandah that extends across the front facade. It features five cure porches. It was operated as a private, registered sanatorium and boarding cottage from about 1921 to 1932.
Stuckman Cottage is a historic cure cottage located at Saranac Lake, town of North Elba in Essex and Franklin County, New York. It was built between 1897 and 1900 as a single family residence. It is a three-story, rectangular, gable-roofed wood-frame dwelling with numerous additions layered over each other over the years and has Colonial Revival style details. The interior is divided into apartments, one per floor, and it features a glass-enclosed verandah and multiple glazed cure porches. It was operated as a boarding cottage with care starting in 1925.
Feisthamel-Edelberg Cottage is a historic cure cottage located at Saranac Lake in the town of Harrietstown, Franklin County, New York. It was built about 1905 and is a three-story wood-frame structure in the Shingle Style on a stone foundation and surmounted by a metal jerkin head gable roof. It has a two-story wing with a shed roof dormer. It has a two bay verandah and entrance porch with a second story sleeping porch. Also on the second floor is a cure porch. It was originally built for the priest of St. Lukes Episcopal Church, later the home of Dr. Edward Welles, a pioneer in thoracic surgery, who practiced at the Adirondack Cottage Sanitarium. The house has been converted to six units.

It was built about 1911 and is a 2 1⁄2-story, wood-frame structure on a concrete foundation. It is topped by a hipped roof with two steeply pitched cross gable extensions in the Queen Anne style. It has a large 1-story porch and two second-story sleeping porches. It operated as a private sanatorium until 1926.

It has American Craftsman details such as a cobblestone chimney, flared eaves, and wide overhangs with exposed rafters. It features two cure porches and a second-story sleeping porch.

Cottage Row Historic District is a national historic district located in Saranac Lake (Harrietstown) in Franklin County, New York. It includes 27 contributing privately owned single-family dwellings built between 1900 and 1940, with the majority constructed between 1907 and 1917. They are mostly two- or three-story, wood-framed structures, with gable or gambrel roofs, dormers, and wood siding or shingles. Most of the residences were operated as commercial, private tuberculosis sanitorium, with characteristic architectural features of the "cure cottage," including second story sleeping porches, extra wide doorways, and call bell systems.
Cottages at Central Point are a set of four historic cottages located on the east shore of Keuka Lake in Wayne in Steuben County, New York. They were built in the late 1880s, and are two-story, wood-frame cottages with steep gable roofs and wide porches. The cottages feature eclectic Victorian stylistic elements including board-and-batten siding, decorative stick work and brackets, wrap around porches, and decorative balusters. The cottages are known as "Sans Souci," "Marjean Lodge," "Villula," and "Ultimatum."
