St. John's Lutheran Church is a historic Lutheran church complex located at Ancram in Columbia County, New York. The complex includes the church, parsonage (ca. 1853), 19th century horse sheds, and church hall (ca. 1910). The church was built in 1847 and is a rectangular, heavy timber frame meeting house that received major modifications in 1854, 1886, and 1906. It is sparsely decorated in Greek Revival style. The current bell tower was added in 1886. [2]

It was built in 1901-1902 and is a brick building with a medium pitched gable roof, deep bracketed cornice, and semi-engaged tower in the center bay of the front facade in the Late Gothic Revival style church. It is a one-story building constructed of red pressed brick and wood frame, a high basement level, a high pitched gable roof, and two prominent towers of different heights. The front gable features a three part pointed arch window. The adjacent cemetery contains approximately 2,200 burials dating from 1821 to the present.

St. Paul Lutheran Church is located in central, Davenport, Iowa, United States. It is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). The church's original property, which subsequently housed other Protestant congregations, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, but has since been torn down. The present complex was built in 1952 and contains two buildings that are contributing properties in the Vander Veer Park Historic District. The present church building was completed in 2007.

St. Paul's Lutheran Church Historic District, also known as Schoharie United Presbyterian Church, is a historic Lutheran church complex and national historic district located at Schoharie, Schoharie County, New York. The complex consists of the former St. Paul's Lutheran Church, an 1801 manse, St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, and the old Lutheran Parsonage. The church was built in 1796, and is a two-story rectangular brick building. The front facade features a square, multistage entrance tower capped by an octagonal belfry and spire. The new manse was built in 1801, and is a five bay, two-story, double pile, heavy timber frame Federal style dwelling with a two-story rear ell. The church cemetery has several thousand graves, with the earliest marked grave dated to 1778. The Old Lutheran Parsonage was built in 1743, and is separately listed. In 1920, the local Lutheran and Methodist congregations joined, and in 1960, the congregation voted to affiliate with the Presbyterian denomination.
Washington Residential Historic District is a nationally recognized historic district located in Dubuque, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. At the time of its nomination it consisted of 327 resources, which included 262 contributing buildings, 61 non-contributing buildings, and two non-contributing objects. This is one of the early residential areas of Dubuque, and was home to its German community. It also defines the "walkable city" with commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings located here. There are a number of churches in the district from various denominations. Of particular interest are St. Mary's Catholic Church (1866), St. John's Lutheran Church (1880), and St. Matthew's Lutheran Church (1908). A significant number of the buildings were constructed in brick, and the vast majority of the buildings in the district were built by 1891. Vernacular structures are commonplace here, as are various Victorian styles. Hollenfelz House (1891) and the Dubuque Casket Company building (1894) are individually listed on the National Register. The former St. Mary's Catholic Church complex forms its own historic district within this one.

The Old Stone church was built in 1867–1868, and designed by Christian Schwan, a German immigrant. Another church was built in 1903, and designed in the Late Gothic Revival architectural style. A two-story parsonage was completed in 1925. The complex includes a cemetery with over 500 tombstones. The church complex has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since January 25, 1979.
