It stands at the end of a 2,000-foot-long (610 m) breakwater at mouth of Oswego River, extending .5 miles (.8 km) out onto Lake Ontario. It is accessible by boat or from land over the abutting breakwater. It is not open to the public. It is owned by the City of Oswego and operated by the United States Coast Guard. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Hunter-Oliphant Block, also known as Browne-Davis Furniture Store, is a historic commercial building located at Oswego in Oswego County, New York. It consists of adjacent brick buildings under single ownership; the three-story Hunter Building, built in 1882, and the Oliphant Building, built in 1880 as a three-story building with a fourth story added in the 1890s. The buildings exhibits Italianate design details. The first floor has cast-iron storefronts. The buildings have a common history dating to 1909 when they were combined as a single furniture store.
Mexico station is a historic railway depot located at Mexico in Oswego County, New York. It was built in 1905 by the Oswego and Rome Railroad. It is a one-story, Stick style, wood frame building, 40 feet by 100 feet in size. It has a broad hip roof with a wide overhang. Also on the property is a two stall privy. It was last used as a railroad depot in 1940.
Woodruff Block is a historic commercial building located at Oswego in Oswego County, New York. It is a four-story masonry structure built about 1840 and modified between 1900 and 1930. It features rectangular cut stone columns with Doric capitals in the Greek Revival style. When built it was located strategically at the terminus of the 1828 Oswego Canal.
Walton and Willett Stone Store, also known as Cahill's Fish Market, is a historic commercial building located at Oswego in Oswego County, New York. It is a three and four story, limestone structure with a distinctive stepped gable roof on the banks of the Oswego River. The oldest commercial building in the city of Oswego, it was built in 1828 and first used as a ship chandlery. In later years, it housed a newspaper office, customs collector, steamboat ticket and freight office, and warehouse. In 1945, it was purchased for use as a fish market.
Fort Brewerton is a historic fort site located at Brewerton in Oswego County, New York. It is the site of a fort that originally was in the form of an eight-pointed star with sixteen 30-foot (9.1 m) faces surrounded by a 10-foot (3.0 m) moat. The 480-foot-long (150 m) parapet had earth walls 5 feet (1.5 m) high from which projected log palisades. Within the parapet were four log blockhouses, smaller buildings for munitions and supplies, and wells. It was erected in 1759 to defend the passage from Albany to the port of Oswego.

Built about 1870 in the Italianate style, it was extensively reconfigured and enlarged in 1912–1913 in the Tudor Revival style. Along the north and east edge of the property is a terrace wall built of cut limestone blocks and topped by a cast and wrought iron fence.
Beekman Meeting House and Friends' Cemetery is located on Emans Road in LaGrangeville, New York, United States. The meeting house is a wooden building from the early 19th century that has been unused and vacant for decades. As a result, it is in an advanced state of decay, and mostly collapsed. The cemetery, better preserved, is located a short distance away.

There are 37 residences, four churches, a synagogue, a public green, the county office building, and County Courthouse, and a former railroad tunnel. Located within the district are the separately listed Hamilton and Rhoda Littlefield House, Richardson-Bates House, Oswego City Library, and Oswego County Courthouse. Washington Park was laid out in 1797 when the city of Oswego was laid out.

It was built as late as the 1830s and is a one-story, stone building with a gable roof. At the rear is a two-story frame extension. It is believed to be Mexico's oldest surviving commercial building.
The Lake Oswego Odd Fellows Hall, in Lake Oswego, Oregon, was built in 1890. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It served historically as a meeting hall of the local Independent Order of Odd Fellows chapter, which formed in 1888. It also has served as a specialty store and in other uses.
Brosemer Brewery, also known as the Seaway Supply Building, is a historic brewery located at Oswego in Oswego County, New York. It was built in 1888 and is a four-story building measuring approximately 50 feet wide and 126 feet deep. It is a heavy timber post and beam and brick masonry structure on a limestone foundation. It ceased use as a brewery in the 1920s, after which it housed manufacturing and warehousing companies.
The Oswego United States Post Office in Oswego, Kansas is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as US Post Office--Oswego, located at 819 4th Street. Built in 1940, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
