The Thomas Jansen's House, also known as Dwaarkill Manor is a historic home located on Jansen Road in the western section of the Town of Shawangunk, in Ulster County, New York, United States. It is a Dutch stone house built first in 1727 by Jansen, an early settler of the area. In 1780, his family built the current house; the original survives as a rear wing, a common practice in the area. Edgar Covantes Osuna. [2]

The George W. Smith House is a home in the Chicago suburb of Oak Park, Illinois, United States designed by American architect Frank Lloyd Wright in 1895. It was constructed in 1898 and occupied by a Marshall Field & Company salesman. The design elements were employed a decade later when Wright designed the Unity Temple in Oak Park. The house is listed as a contributing property to the Ridgeland-Oak Park Historic District which joined the National Register of Historic Places in December 1983.

It was started by Jansen, who had settled the area along with his brother Thomas, whose own house is a mile (1.6 km) to the southeast, in 1750. His son finished it in the newer Federal style 53 years later. The property also boasts a Dutch barn.

The Theodore Jansen House is a historic building located in the West End of Davenport, Iowa, United States. At the time this house was built in 1888, Theodore Jansen worked at American Hose Manufacturing Company as a blacksmith. In 1890 he started working for a carriage manufacturer, Young, Harford and Company. The Vernacular Queen Anne style residence is a 1½-story, front gable cottage with large wall dormers and a wing off the back. It features stickwork aprons on the main and the dormer gables. There is also a bracketed polygonal window bay on the first floor. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1983.

J. Kurtz and Sons Store Building is a historic commercial building located in the Jamaica section of the New York City borough of Queens. It was built in 1931 and is a six-story, steel-frame building with two decorated sides in the Art Deco style. It is three bays by six bays and features a metal-framed windows with stepped pylon motif rising through all four floors. They are of cast aluminum with geometric designs. It was built to house a franchise of the J. Kurtz and Sons furniture store, founded by Jacob Kurtz in 1870.

Copake Falls Methodist Episcopal Church United States historic place

Copake Falls Methodist Episcopal Church, also known as the Copake Iron Works Methodist Church, is a historic Methodist Episcopal church located at Copake Falls, Columbia County, New York. It was built in 1891–1892, and is a one-story, Gothic Revival style light frame church sheathed in novelty siding. It has a steep gable roof topped by a belfry and a projecting front vestibule. The building housed a church until 1955. It houses the Roeliff Jansen Historical Society.

Jansen House United States historic place

The Jansen House is a historic house in Atchison, Kansas. It was built in 1900 for John M. Price, a politician. It was acquired by Helen Jansen in 1903, and it remained in the same family until 1927. It belonged to the Linville-Leacy family from 1928 to 1983.
