The A452 is a road in England, which runs from Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire to Brownhills in the West Midlands. It is the major link to the M6 motorway for both Leamington and Warwick in addition to serving as Leamington's link to the M40 motorway and to Coventry.
Between Brownhills and Kenilworth it follows the line of the ancient drover's road called the Welsh Road, which probably has pre-Roman origins. [1]
The A452 starts south of Leamington Spa with two separate spurs running to junctions 13 (southbound) and 14 (northbound) of the M40 motorway. [2] [3] The road leading to J14 was originally part of the A41. These meet and the road heads into Leamington along Europa Way, a road newly created at the same time as the M40 extension in that area. The road into Leamington is signed as a primary route but most maps show it as non-primary. After running up the western edge of the town centre, the road crosses the A425 and then heads north. Just before Kenilworth, the A452 crosses the A46, the major dual carriageway linking the M40 to Coventry. The A452/A46 is thus the principal route between Leamington and Coventry.
Beyond the A46 junction, the A452 passes through Kenilworth and then on towards Balsall Common, although the signed route to Balsall curiously deviates from the official A452 at this point, instead directing drivers along the B4103 past Kenilworth Castle. Halfway between Kenilworth and Balsall Common the road meets the A4177 from Warwick.
Exiting north from Balsall Common, the road becomes a dual carriageway. It then arrives at a major roundabout known as Stonebridge, where it crosses the A45 between Coventry and Birmingham. In recent years a flyover for the A45 has been built to alleviate traffic congestion on the roundabout. The A452 continues as dual carriageway for a short while, but then exits with the dual carriageway section continuing as the A446 up to M6 motorway, junction 4.
Having left the main dual carriageway the A452 runs through Chelmsley Wood, right on the eastern edge of the Birmingham conurbation and then loops around the outside of Castle Bromwich, running parallel and adjacent to the M6 at that point. It then crosses the M6 (at junction 5), [4] before heading northeast through Pype Hayes, Erdington, New Oscott and the semi-urban areas of Streetly and Shire Oak, between Walsall and Sutton Coldfield, before terminating at a junction with the A5 in Brownhills.
The M45 is a motorway in Northamptonshire and Warwickshire, England and is 7.9 miles (12.7 km) long. It runs between junction 17 of the M1 motorway south east of Rugby and a junction with the A45 road southwest of Rugby. It has one of the lowest traffic volumes of the United Kingdom motorway system.

Between Leicester and Lincoln the road follows the course of the Roman Fosse Way, but between Bath and Leicester, two cities also linked by the Fosse Way, it follows a more westerly course.
The M69 is a 15.7-mile (25.3 km) dual three lane dual carriageway motorway in Leicestershire and Warwickshire, England. It runs between junction 21 of the M1 near Leicester and junction 2 of the M6 near Coventry. It opened in 1977.

The A453 road was formerly the main trunk road connecting the English cities of Nottingham and Birmingham. However, the middle section of this mainly single-carriageway road has largely been downgraded to B roads or unclassified roads following the construction of the parallel M42-A42 link around 1990. The M42 was originally meant to pass further north than it does, and to join the M1 at Sandiacre in Derbyshire. The M42/A42 does not enter Derbyshire, but instead joins the M1 closer to the A453 junction at Kegworth. The A42 shadows the former A453 from Appleby Magna to Castle Donington. The road historically connected the East Midlands with the West Midlands.
The A445 road is a road in Warwickshire, England. It runs between the town of Warwick and the A45, also passing through the north of Leamington Spa. The road provides the major link between Leamington/Warwick and north-east Warwickshire, including Rugby and the M45/M1 motorways. The M45/M1 provided the major route to London until the early 1990s but have now been superseded by the M40, which passes to the south of the Leamington/Warwick conurbation.
The Coventry Way is a 40-mile (64 km) long-distance footpath in central England that starts and finishes in Meriden. It forms a circular route around the city of Coventry covering countryside in both the West Midlands and Warwickshire. The path is managed by A Coventry Way Association.

Longbridge Interchange is a major road and motorway junction between Warwick and Sherbourne, Warwickshire, connecting the A46 road and A429 road respectively to the M40 motorway at junction 15. For many years, it was deemed inadequate in handling the volume of traffic, which in 2009 was estimated to be in the region of 75,000 vehicles daily; a bypass was built during 2008-2009 which relieved congestion.
