Ajoy Mehta is the former Municipal Commissioner of Mumbai. [1] [2] He succeeded Sitaram Kunte as the Municipal Commissioner of Mumbai. [3] [4] [5] [6] He has been appointed as the Chief Secretary of Maharashtra on 10 May 2019. [7]
After taking over charge as Municipal Commissioner Ajoy Mehta has started work on affordable housing in the draft development plan. [8] [9] He has also tackled the sanitation issue in Mumbai. [10]
Ajoy Mehta is a 1984 Cadre from the Maharashtra Batch of the IAS.[ citation needed ] He joined IAS after completing his btech from IIT BHU.[ citation needed ]

She was elected as Mayor without any opposition. She worked as a nurse earlier on and once again in 2020,this time to motivate other healthcare workers during COVID-19 pandemic.
Praveensingh Pratapsingh Pardeshi is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer with over 29 years of experience in the services,and former Municipal Commissioner of Mumbai. Pardeshi has held various senior leadership positions within the United Nations as the Chief of Transition Recovery unit,UNDP Geneva and Senior Coordinator of United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR). He has subsequently headed the regional offices Support and Co-ordination Unit of UNISDR. Pardeshi has been a key player in post-disaster and conflict recovery programs of UNDP and the public administration,governance reform,wildlife conservation and public health effort against COVID-19 in Maharashtra,India.
