Beastro by Marshawn Lynch, or simply Beastro, is a Korean restaurant in Portland, Oregon. [1]
Marshawn Lynch, Jun Park, and Kevin Yamada originally planned to open a Hawaiian restaurant at Hotel Vance called Beast, with recipes by Lynch's Filipino grandmother. However, the proposed name conflicted with Naomi Pomeroy's restaurant of the same name. [2] [3] The name 'Beast by Marshawn Lynch & Kama’aina' was changed to 'Beastro'. [4]
Marshawn Terrell Lynch is an American former football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons. Nicknamed "Beast Mode", he spent the majority of his career with the Seattle Seahawks. Lynch grew up in Oakland, California and played college football for the nearby California Golden Bears, earning first-team All-American honors and becoming the school's second all-time career rusher. He was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the first round of the 2007 NFL draft and played three full seasons before joining Seattle during the 2010 season.
British Overseas Restaurant Corporation, previously Saffron Colonial, was a restaurant in north Portland, Oregon, in the United States. The restaurant opened in the Boise neighborhood in March 2016, but changed its name to British Overseas Restaurant Corporation the following month in response to protests over its name and menu.
