Whiskey Soda Lounge was a bar and Thai restaurant by Andy Ricker in Portland, Oregon's Richmond neighborhood, in the United States. [1] Located across the street from Ricker's Pok Pok restaurant, [2] the whiskey-centric bar closed in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. [3]

Ricker opened a second Whiskey Soda Lounge in Brooklyn, also near a Pok Pok location, [6] in August 2013. [7] [8] It was unable to find a sufficient customer base, and closed less than two years later. [9]

The restaurant also shifted towards casual dining in 2019, revamping its menu and ambiance. Irving Street Kitchen ultimately closed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The restaurant opened in 1978, and was later owned by Merrie Ann Dillon, who sold the business to her daughter Linda Moles in 2002. Remaining under the ownership of the Moles family, My Father's Place serves breakfast all day and offers happy hour options. The game room and lounge have pool tables, lottery machines, pinball, and a jukebox. Musicians Elliott Smith and Willy Vlautin frequented the bar, which hosts game nights and other events. Known as a local favorite, it operates every day including holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The reportedly haunted My Father's Place has received a generally positive reception.
