Career results of Jimmie Johnson

Jimmie Kenneth Johnson (born September 17, 1975) is an American professional auto racing driver who competes part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 84 Toyota Camry for Legacy Motor Club, a team that he co-owns with Maury Gallagher and with Richard Petty as team ambassador. His is a seven-time Cup Series champion, tied with Petty and Dale Earnhardt for the most all-time. Johnson's first five Cup Series championships from (2006 to 2010) were won consecutively. His successes have caused many analysts and fellow drivers to consider him as one of the greatest NASCAR drivers of all time. Johnson drove the No. 48 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports for his entire full-time Cup Series career from 2002 to 2020 NASCAR Cup Series.

After retiring from full-time NASCAR competition after the 2020 season, Johnson made starts in the NTT IndyCar Series, driving the No. 48 Honda part-time in 2021 and full-time in 2022 [1] for Chip Ganassi Racing and also competed in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, driving the No. 48 Cadillac on a part-time schedule for Ally Cadillac Racing.

The 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series was the 67th season of professional stock car racing in the United States and the 44th modern-era Cup season. The season began at Daytona International Speedway with the Sprint Unlimited exhibition race, the Budweiser Duels, and the Daytona 500. The season ended with the Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Kyle Busch won the championship, despite missing the first third of the season due to severe leg injuries suffered in an Xfinity Series race at Daytona. Busch also became the first Toyota driver to win a Cup championship. Despite not running the full season, Brett Moffitt was named Rookie of the Year.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Carl Edwards</span> American racing driver (born 1979)

Carl Michael Edwards Jr. is an American former professional stock car racing driver. He last competed in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, driving the No. 19 Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing. Prior to that, he drove the No. 99 Ford Fusion for Roush Fenway Racing. He won the 2007 NASCAR Busch Series championship and nearly won the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series title, but lost by a tiebreaker to Tony Stewart. Edwards is known for doing a backflip off his car to celebrate his victories. In 2023, he was named one of NASCAR's 75 Greatest Drivers, and in 2025, he will be inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Juan Pablo Montoya Roldán is a Colombian racing driver. Montoya is one of three drivers to win at least one race in Indy car racing, Formula One, and the NASCAR Cup Series. He is also one of only two active drivers who have won two legs of the Triple Crown of Motorsport in its more recent definition.
