The Christ Building (also known as Harlan's General Store) is a historic commercial building located at 357-359 Sea Cliff Avenue in Sea Cliff, Nassau County, New York.
It was built in about 1880, and is a three-story, Second Empire style frame building. It has a hexagonal slate mansard roof and is clad with wood shingles. The building houses a store on the first floor and two rental units on the upper floors. The building was built during the period when Sea Cliff functioned as a Methodist camp and originally housed a bakery and store on the first floor and boarding rooms on the upper floors. [2]

The Incorporated Village of Sea Cliff is a village located within the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, New York, United States. According to the United States 2010 Census, the village population was 4,995. The village is part of the North Shore School District.
The Salem Maritime National Historic Site is a National Historic Site consisting of 12 historic structures, one replica tall-ship, and about 9 acres of land along the waterfront of Salem Harbor in Salem, Massachusetts. Salem Maritime is the first National Historic Site established in the United States. It interprets the Triangle Trade during the colonial period, in cotton, rum, sugar and slaves; the actions of privateers during the American Revolution; and global maritime trade with the Far East, after independence. The National Park Service manages both the National Historic Site and a Regional Visitor Center in downtown Salem. The National Park Service (NPS) is an agency of the United States Department of the Interior.
Charles Scribner's Sons Building is a building at 597 Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Designed by Ernest Flagg in a Beaux Arts style, it was built in 1912–13 for the Scribner's Bookstore. Among its details are piers anchoring three large bays which include four medallions with busts of printers: Benjamin Franklin, William Caxton, Johann Gutenberg, and Aldus Manutius.
Pickens Hall was a vaudeville venue at Heuvelton in St. Lawrence County, New York. It was built in 1858 and is a three-story, rectangular stone building, 65 feet wide and 74 feet deep. It is an Italianate style building with commercial space on the first floor and office/storage rooms on the second floor. There is a General Store on the first floor, function space on the second, and a newly restored Opera House on the third floor which serves as a venue for various performances. The $2.75 million restoration project just received an "Excellence in Historic Preservation" award from the Preservation League of NY State.
The Sea Cliff Firehouse is a historic fire station located at Sea Cliff, Nassau County, New York. The fire department was established in 1884, and the firehouse was built in 1931. It is a 1 1/2-story, Tudor Revival style brick building with ornamental half timbering. It has four engine bays with segmental arched openings and a steep slate roof with dormers. It features a bell tower topped by a slate gable roof.
Central Office Building is a historic building located in downtown Davenport, Iowa, United States. It has been individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1983. In 2020 it was included as a contributing property in the Davenport Downtown Commercial Historic District. It is located in the center of a block with other historic structures. It now houses loft apartments.
House at 195 Prospect Avenue is a historic home located at Sea Cliff in Nassau County, New York. It was built about 1890 and is a two-story house with decorative slate jerkinhead roof in the Late Victorian style. It features a three-bay shed-roof dormer that forms the second floor and covers the entrance porch. It is identical to the House at 199 Prospect Avenue.
House at 362 Sea Cliff Avenue is a historic home located at Sea Cliff in Nassau County, New York. It was built about 1875 and expanded in 1890. It consists of a three-bay, 2-story main section with a mansard roof and 1 1⁄2-story gable-roofed wing in the Second Empire style. It features a shed-roofed porch with scrollsawn corner brackets.
House at 58 Eighteenth Avenue is a historic home located at Sea Cliff in Nassau County, New York. It was built in 1893 and is a two-story, three bay clapboard sided residence with a cross gable roof in the Late Victorian style. It features a first floor porch with spindle balustrade and fishscale shingling. Also on the property is a contributing cast iron fence.
The Poweshiek County Courthouse in Montezuma, Iowa, United States, was built in 1859. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981 as a part of the County Courthouses in Iowa Thematic Resource. In 2012 it was listed as a contributing property in the Montezuma Downtown Historic District. The courthouse is the second building the county has used for court functions and county administration.
The Baker-Devotie-Hollingsworth Block is an historic building located in the East Village of Des Moines, Iowa, United States. The eastern two-thirds of the block was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 as the Studio Building. The western one-third was added to the National Register in 2008, and its name was changed at that time. In 2019 the entire building was included as a contributing property in the East Des Moines Commercial Historic District.

It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. In 2015 it was included as a contributing property in the Cedar Rapids Central Business District Commercial Historic District.
Elmwood Historic District–West is a national historic district located at Buffalo, Erie County, New York. The district encompasses 1,971 contributing buildings, 4 contributing structures, and 13 contributing objects in the Elmwood Village neighborhood of Buffalo. It is built around the Buffalo Parks and Parkways system bounded on the north by Delaware Park, Forest Lawn Cemetery, and the former Buffalo State Asylum, on the south by the Allentown Historic District, and on the east by the Elmwood Historic District–East. This predominantly residential district developed between about 1867 and 1941, and includes notable examples of Queen Anne, Shingle Style, Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, and American Craftsman style architecture. The district contains one of the most intact collections of built resources from turn of the 20th century in the city of Buffalo and western New York State. 116 John Street is a historic office tower at the southwest corner of John Street and Pearl Street in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan in New York City. It was built in 1931, and is a 35-story brick and terra cotta building consisting of a three-story base, a 19-story shaft, and 12 upper stories that recede in a series of setbacks. The building features Art Deco style design elements at the recessed entrances and in the lobby. Built as a speculative office building for insurance companies, the building interior was rehabilitated in 2013 and some floors converted to apartments.
Beaver Falls Grange Hall No. 554 is a historic Grange hall located at Beaver Falls in Lewis County, New York. It was built in 1892, and is a two-story, wood-frame building measuring 30 feet wide and 60 feet deep. It sits on a fieldstone foundation and has a front gable roof. It features a one-story, hipped roof front porch. The first floor was converted to a store in 1915.
YMCA of Schenectady is a historic YMCA building located at Schenectady, Schenectady County, New York. It was built between 1926 and 1928, and is a four-story and basement, red brick building with cast stone detailing. An addition was constructed in 1968. It is nearly rectangular in plan overall – with E-shaped upper floors. The front façade features twin main entrances and is dominated by an elevated two-story verandah with substantial wood columns. YMCA occupied the building until 2014.
Mica Insulator Company is a historic daylight factory complex located at Schenectady, Schenectady County, New York. The complex consists of the four-story Micanite Works built in 1915 and the adjacent three-story Lamicoid Building built in 1946. The two buildings are connected by a third floor exterior walkway. The Micanite Works is of reinforced concrete construction and the Lamicoid Building is a steel frame building with brick curtain walls. Both features large multi-paned windows and open floor plans.
Stephen Harding House is a historic home located at Sea Cliff in Nassau County, New York. It was built in 1878, and is a 1 1/2-story, rectangular balloon frame vernacular Queen Anne style cottage. It has three small one-story additions. It features a replacement front verandah with turned spindle supports and decorative frieze and railings and fishscale shingles on the gable ends. The cottage was built during the period when Sea Cliff functioned as a Methodist camp.
Parker's Opera House, also known as Opera House Store, Woolworth's and Parker Place, is a historic building located in Mason City, Iowa, United States. It was designed by the prominent Des Moines architect William Foster. Cousins H.G. and A.T. Parker built this structure as an opera house, which was the first one in the community. While it initially filled a need in Mason City, it was replaced by more modern theatres around the turn of the 20th century. The third floor was created in the building in 1909 when it was placed across the middle of the auditorium. The first floor initially housed a clothing store, and F. W. Woolworth Company occupied it beginning in the mid-1920s, and the upper floors housed the local offices of the Standard Oil Company at the same time. The two-story addition in the rear was built in the 1960s. The first floor was redesigned in 1997 for Central Park Dentistry. The upper floors were converted into apartments in 2013.
