Clayton Historic District is a historic district in Clayton, New York. It was originally listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, and later its boundaries were increased in 1997. [2] [3]

It includes the Capt. Simon Johnston House, which is separately listed on the National Register.

Broome County Courthouse is a historic courthouse located at Binghamton in Broome County, New York. It is a massive 2+12-story structure, built on a raised foundation, in the form of a Latin Cross and topped with an elegant copper dome. Originally constructed in 1897–1898 in a "T" shape, the south wing was added in 1916-1917 to form the cross. It was designed by noted New York State architect Isaac G. Perry. The courthouse is located within the boundaries of the Court Street Historic District.

Verdoy Schoolhouse United States historic place

Verdoy Schoolhouse, also known as District No. 7 Schoolhouse, is a historic one-room school building located at Newtonville in Albany County, New York. It was built in 1910 and is an asymmetrical frame building. It features a slate covered hipped roof crowned by a small belfry and a massive chimney at the center of the roof. Until 1996 when moved to the grounds of the Casparus F. Pruyn House, the school was located on Troy-Schenectady Rd. and was previously listed in 1985 as the Verdoy School.

Fort Greene Historic District Historic district in New York, United States

Fort Greene Historic District is a national historic district in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, New York, New York. It consists of 1,158 contributing buildings, two contributing sites, one contributing object, and two contributing structures. It is characterized by a concentration of architecturally distinguished three and four story townhouses developed speculatively and built between 1840 and 1890. Most are faced in sandstone and exhibit characteristics of the Greek Revival, Italianate, Second Empire, and Neo-Grec styles. It includes the 33-acre Fort Greene Park designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux in 1868. In the park is a column memorializing Revolutionary War soldiers that was designed by McKim, Mead, and White and erected in 1908. The park was built on the site of fortifications built in 1776 and 1814. Also located in the district is the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
