The Chamber of Commerce Building is a commercial building on 65 Liberty Street, between Liberty Place and Broadway, in the Financial District of Manhattan in New York City. Designed by architect James Barnes Baker, the four-story Beaux-Arts building was constructed between 1901 and 1902 as the first headquarters to be built specifically for the Chamber of Commerce of the State of New York.
SUNY Plaza, formerly the Delaware & Hudson Railroad Company Building, is a public office building located at 353 Broadway at the intersection with State Street in downtown Albany, New York. Locally the building is sometimes referred to as "The Castle" or "D&H Plaza"; prior to the construction of the nearby Empire State Plaza it was simply "The Plaza". The central tower of the building is thirteen stories high and is capped by an 8-foot-tall (2.4 m) working weathervane that is a replica of Henry Hudson's Half Moon.
The Gridley Building, built in 1867 and known previously as the Onondaga County Savings Bank Building, is a prominent historic building on Clinton Square and Hanover Square in Syracuse, New York, United States. It was designed by Horatio Nelson White and was built adjacent to what was then the Erie Canal and is now Erie Boulevard.
Clinton Commercial Historic District is a national historic district located at Clinton, Laurens County, South Carolina. It encompasses 37 contributing buildings in the central business district of Clinton. The district predominantly comprises late-19th and early-20th century commercial buildings, and also contains two bank buildings; a five-section warehouse; a former city hall; a large, industrial building; a Masonic temple; and a small, landscaped park.
Schenectady City Hall is the seat of government of the city of Schenectady, New York, United States. Designed by McKim, Mead, and White, the building was constructed between 1931 and 1933. It is located on the block between Clinton, Franklin, Jay and Liberty streets. It is built in a revival of the Federal Style, the dominant style of American architecture from 1780 to 1830. Its most prominent features include the square clock tower, with its gold-leaf dome and weathervane, and the Ionic neoclassical portico. It houses not only city government but the local office of U.S. Rep. Paul Tonko.
There are 69 properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Albany, New York, United States. Six are additionally designated as National Historic Landmarks (NHLs), the most of any city in the state after New York City. Another 14 are historic districts, for which 20 of the listings are also contributing properties. Two properties, both buildings, that had been listed in the past but have since been demolished have been delisted; one building that is also no longer extant remains listed.
St. Ann's Federation Building is a historic commercial and office building located at Hornell in Steuben County, New York. It is a rectangular shaped, four story Neoclassical style building built between 1910 and 1912. The fireproof steel frame is clad in red and yellow brick laid up in running bond above a poured concrete foundation. The first story is composed of plate glass storefronts flanking a central entrance. The second floor contains a two-story, 73 by 60 feet auditorium, and dance hall.
Ithaca Downtown Historic District is a national historic district located at Ithaca in Tompkins County, New York. The district consists of 64 contributing mostly commercial buildings. It is composed mainly of multi-story buildings with brick exteriors and flat or low-pitched roofs fronted by a variety of parapets set off by decorative cornices. The district includes three separately listed properties: Clinton House, Clinton Hall, and the State Theater.
The Building at 171–177 Clinton Street, also known as Bruun and Co. and Afga Ansco, No. 99, is a historic commercial building located at Binghamton in Broome County, New York. It is a two-story, two part brick commercial block built in 1920. The first floor is divided into four storefronts and the second floor contains the remnants of offices and apartments. The building was purchased in the 1940s by General Aniline & Film and housed a number of GAF offices and facilities.
The Kingston Stockade District is an eight-block area in the western section of Kingston, New York, United States, commonly referred to as Uptown Kingston. It is the original site of the mid-17th century Dutch settlement of Wiltwyck, which was later renamed Kingston when it passed to English control.
Pickens Hall was a vaudeville venue at Heuvelton in St. Lawrence County, New York. It was built in 1858 and is a three-story, rectangular stone building, 65 feet wide and 74 feet deep. It is an Italianate style building with commercial space on the first floor and office/storage rooms on the second floor. There is a General Store on the first floor, function space on the second, and a newly restored Opera House on the third floor which serves as a venue for various performances. The $2.75 million restoration project just received an "Excellence in Historic Preservation" award from the Preservation League of NY State.
Clinton–Rosekrans Law Building is a historic law office at Greene in Chenango County, New York. It was built in 1892 and is a simple two story brick structure with an ornate, galvanized iron front. It measures 40 feet wide and 60 feet deep, with a frame second story porch in the rear. It is located within the Greene Historic District.
The Clark Memorial Hall, also known as the Adrian I.O.O.F. Hall, is a commercial building located at 120–124 South Winter Street (M-52) in the Downtown Adrian Commercial Historic District in Adrian, Michigan. It was designated as a Michigan Historic Site and individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places on January 14, 1985.
The Clinton Downtown Historic District is a historic district located in the village of Clinton in Clinton Township in the northernmost portion of Lenawee County, Michigan. It consists of most of the 100 block of U.S. Route 12, known locally as West Michigan Avenue, plus Memorial Park at 200 West Michigan. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 27, 2010.
