Coimbatore Junction Metro, is a planned elevated metro station in Coimbatore, India. It would serve the Red Line, Yellow Line, Blue Line and Green Line lines of the Coimbatore Metro. [1]
It is planned as a two-storeyed elevated metro hub within the premises of Coimbatore Junction. [2] [3]

Patna Metro (Patna MRTS) is a rapid transit system being constructed in the city of Patna, India. Construction will be completed over five phases, and the transit system would be owned and operated by the state-run Patna Metro Rail Corporation. In the first phase, five stations of Patna Metro will be operational by March 2025. Patna MRTS, constructed under a public-private partnership model, is estimated to cost ₹13,365.77 crore (US$1.6 billion). This cost excludes land acquisition cost, which will be paid for by the Bihar government. Avinashi Road, is an arterial road in Coimbatore, India. Running from west to east, the road starts at Uppilipalayam flyover and ends at Neelambur by-pass junction where it joins NH 544, Beyond Neelambur Junction, the road branches into two, with one traversing southwards to Madukarai to form the Coimbatore bypass while the other continues westwards to Avinashi and beyond to form the National Highway 544. This road connects Coimbatore to its airport and the east and north-east suburbs. The road was an indicator of development as the city of Coimbatore grew up mostly along its eastern and western sides.

The circular railway line will help run through Coimbatore Junction, Podanur, Vellalore, Irugur, Singanallur, Pilamedu and Coimbatore North. This will certainly help decongest the city roads since this circular line passes through the main parts of Coimbatore city and ends within the coimbatore city limits, so this circular line is an urban line. Restoration of old Main Line Nanjundapuram Railway link line lengths 1 km will help plan circular urban electric train track. A senior official with the Salem division says, "if the revival of an old line can bring about so many benefits, it can be considered". However, Implementation of this project gets delayed due to the Proposed Coimbatore Metro.
Metrolite is a light rail (LRT) urban transit system being planned in India for cities with lower ridership projection and as a feeder system for the existing metro systems. It will cater to lower passenger capacity at a reduced cost than a metro line. It will have dedicated tracks, separated from the road.

The Avinashi Road Elevated Flyover is a 10.10-kilometre-long (6.28 mi), four-lane, flyover under construction in the city of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. The corridor begins near the Uppilipalayam Flyover and ends near the Goldwins junction over the Avinashi Road, the most important arterial road in the city, bypassing over 12 traffic intersections. Upon completion, this would be the longest elevated corridor in Tamil Nadu, and the third longest in India after the Aroor-Thuravoor Elevated Highway in Kochi, India and the P. V. Narasimha Rao Expressway.
