The Desulfobulbales are an order of anaerobic bacteria within the phylum Thermodesulfobacteriota. [2] It is the only order in the class Desulfobulbia. [4] The order Desulfobulbales contains several lineages of bacteria capable of sulfur oxidation. [5] [6] [7] [8]
