Dorida (Greek : Δωρίδα) is a municipality in the Phocis regional unit, Central Greece, Greece. The seat of the municipality is the town Lidoriki. [2] The municipality has an area of 998.893 km2. [3]

The province of Dorida (Greek : Επαρχία Δωρίδας) was one of the provinces of Phocis. It had the same territory as the present municipality. [4] It was abolished in 2006.
Phocis is one of the regional units of Greece. It is part of the administrative region of Central Greece. It stretches from the western mountainsides of Parnassus on the east to the mountain range of Vardousia on the west, upon the Gulf of Corinth. It is named after the ancient region of Phocis, but the modern regional unit also includes parts of ancient Aetolia, Locris and Doris.
Itea, is a town and a former municipality in the southeastern part of Phocis, Greece. Since 2011 local government reforms made Iteas a municipal unit of the municipality of Delphi.
Kastraki is a former community in Kastoria regional unit, West Macedonia, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Kastoria, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 78.415 km2. Population 457 (2021). The seat of the community was in Ieropigi. The other village in the community is Dendrochori. The village Agios Dimitrios (Labanitsa) is abandoned today.

Amfikleia is a town and a former municipality in Phthiotis, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Amfikleia-Elateia, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 229.366 km2, the community 108.124 km2. At the 2021 census, the population of the municipal unit was 2,996 and of the community 2,157. The town is situated at the northern foot of Mount Parnassus, in the valley of the river Cephissus. It is 11 km northwest of Kato Tithorea and 31 km southeast of Lamia. Greek National Road 3 passes through the town. The town is served by a railway station with connections on the Athens–Thessaloniki railway.

Population 970 (2021). The seat of the municipality was in Krokyleio. It was named after the mountain Vardousia, which is located in the municipal unit.
Desfina is a town and a former municipality in the southern part of Phocis, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Delphi, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 148.992 km2. It is situated on a plateau at 680m elevation, 5 km from the Corinthian Gulf. It is 7 km southeast of Delphi, 9 km east of Itea and 30 km west of Livadeia.
Efpalio is a village and a former municipality in Phocis, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Dorida, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 204.207 km2. Population 5,508 (2021).
Kallieis is a former municipality in the northern part of Phocis, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Delphi, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 183.256 km2. Its registered population in 2021 amounted to 1,123. The seat of the municipality was Mavrolithari, which is home to about 10% of the municipal unit population. The municipality was named after the ancient people of Kallieis, a Dryopean tribe.
Lidoriki is a village and a former municipality in Phocis, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform, it is part of the municipality Dorida, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. Its area is 409.577 km², covering nearly one-fifth of Phocis. Lidoriki is built on the western slopes of Mount Giona and over the Mornos river valley. It is the centre of the mountains of Dorida.

The municipal unit has an area of 87.033 km2. Population 1,610 (2021). The seat of the municipality was in Polydrosos.
