[15] He has been a Green Party candidate in Outremont in four federal elections: in 2006, in a 2007 by-election won by Thomas Mulcair, in 2008, and in 2011. During the 2008 election, he appeared on the ballot as "F. Monsieur Corde à Linge Pilon" (which translates as "F. Mr. Clothesline Pilon"). Grand-Saint-Esprit is a municipality in the Centre-du-Québec region of the province of Quebec in Canada. The population as of the Canada 2011 Census was 471.

Jean-Bernard Émond is a Canadian politician, who was elected to the National Assembly of Quebec in the 2018 provincial election. He represents the electoral district of Richelieu as a member of the Coalition Avenir Québec. Emond is a businessman who co-managed a family printing company in Sorel-Tracy. He is a founding member of the Coalition Avenir Québec.
