The Huguenot Schoolhouse, also known as District Schoolhouse No. 3, the 1863 Schoolhouse and the Town of Deerpark Museum, is located on South Grange Road a short distance from US 209 in Huguenot, a hamlet of the Town of Deerpark in Orange County, New York, United States. It was built in 1863, and is a large, one-story, Greek Revival style masonry building. It closed as a school in 1961, and currently serves as a local historic museum.
Grenadier Island is a 1,290-acre (5.2 km2) island located two miles (3.2 km) out from Mud Bay in the town of Cape Vincent, Jefferson County, New York, United States. The island is 2.3 miles (3.7 km) long and 1.4 miles (2.3 km) wide.
The Pullen Corner School is a historic schoolhouse located at Chase Farm in Lincoln, Rhode Island. It is a small wood-frame structure with a gable roof, set on a granite foundation. It is a single bay wide and two deep, with the interior divided between a small vestibule area and the single classroom. The property also includes a woodshed and privy. The schoolhouse was built c. 1840, and was one of the first schoolhouses built by the town.
The Southwood Two-Teacher Schoolhouse is a historic school building located on Barker Hill Road just south of East Seneca Turnpike, in the Southwood neighborhood of the town of Onondaga, New York. Further east along the turnpike is the hamlet of Jamesville, New York. The two-teacher school was built in 1937–1938, and is a one-story, yellow brick Art Deco style building, but the ivy hides any architectural details that would show that. The rectangular building has a full concrete block basement and is topped by a flat roof. It remained in use as a school until 1966.

Another 14 are historic districts, for which 20 of the listings are also contributing properties. Two properties, both buildings, that had been listed in the past but have since been demolished have been delisted; one building that is also no longer extant remains listed.
The Eureka Schoolhouse is a historic school building at 470 Charlestown Road in the Goulds Mill village of Springfield, Vermont. Built in 1785, it is the oldest surviving schoolhouse in the state. It is the centerpiece of a small historic site operated by the state. The school was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.
District School No. 3, also known as Putnam Schoolhouse, is a historic one-room school building located at Lyme in Jefferson County, New York. The schoolhouse consists of a 1+1⁄2-story, two-by-three-bay wood-frame main block constructed about 1875, and a 1-story, two-by-one-bay rear addition constructed about 1900. Also on the property is a double privy dating to about 1900.
The Square Schoolhouse is a historic schoolhouse at the junction of New Hampshire Route 156 and Ledge Hill Road in Nottingham, New Hampshire. Built about 1850, it is one of the best-preserved mid-19th century schoolhouses in southern New Hampshire. It served as a school until 1920, and is now a local museum. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It is named not for its shape, but for its location in Nottingham Square.
The New Hempstead Presbyterian Church is located at the intersection of New Hempstead and Old Schoolhouse roads in New Hemsptead, New York, United States. It is a wood frame Federal style building from the 1820s, the third church on the site.
Ceres School is a historic two-room school building located at Ceres in Allegany County, New York. It was built in 1855 and remodeled in 1893 with Italianate and Queen Anne style design elements. It is a one-story, gross-gabled frame building topped by a belfry. It is a surviving example of a late 19th-century schoolhouse, which served students from both Pennsylvania and New York. The school closed following World War II and used as a community center.
Strang School District No. 36, or the Strang Public School, is a historic school located in Fillmore County, Nebraska, in the village of Strang. The school is one of the two sites listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the village of Strang. The school building is a small, two-story, brick public schoolhouse, which was built to replace the schoolhouse that was previously located on that site. The schoolhouse was built between 1929 and 1930, and replaced the previous schoolhouse, which burned down in 1928. The schoolhouse still retains all original building materials. The school served high school students from 1930 to 1951, and still functions as a school today, serving grades K–8. The NRHP listing also includes a flagpole located outside the schoolhouse, and five pieces of playground equipment.
Forest Grove School No. 5 is an historic building located near Bettendorf, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.
The Harriman School is a historic one-room schoolhouse on North Road in rural Sebec, Maine. Built in 1860, it is the oldest of two surviving 19th-century district schoolhouses in the community. The vernacular Greek Revival building served as a public school until 1933, and was converted into a museum by the Sebec Historical Society after it acquired the property in 1966. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.
Grindstone Island Upper Schoolhouse is a historic one-room school building located on Grindstone Island, Clayton, Jefferson County, New York. It was built in 1885, and is a 1 1/2-story, three bay by one bay, frame building on a granite foundation. The building includes a vestibule and small teachers apartment. Also on the property is a contributing well pump. It operated until 1989, making it the last one-room school in operation in New York State.
LaGrange District Schoolhouse is a historic one-room school located at Freedom Plains, Dutchess County, New York. It was built about 1862, and is a one-story, rectangular frame building sheathed in clapboard. It has a front gable roof and sits on a stone foundation. It ceased operation as a school in 1942, and subsequently housed a local public library in the 1970s, and is now a local history museum.
