Heitz Place Courthouse is a historic courthouse building located in Hicksville in Nassau County, New York, United States.
It was built in 1895 and is a two-story, hipped roof balloon frame building sheathed with clapboards. It features full height pilasters, a full-length verandah, and an open octagonal cupola. [2]
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. Six years later, in 1980, it was listed on the New York State Register of Historic Places. [1] [3]
The building is currently used to hold the collections of the Hicksville Gregory Museum. [4]
The Jefferson Market Branch of the New York Public Library, once known as the Jefferson Market Courthouse, is a National Historic Landmark located at 425 Avenue of the Americas, on the southwest corner of West 10th Street, in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, New York City, on a triangular plot formed by Greenwich Avenue and West 10th Street. It was originally built as the Third Judicial District Courthouse from 1874 to 1877, and was designed by architect Frederick Clarke Withers of the firm of Vaux and Withers.

The 1841 Goshen Courthouse is located along Main Street in the center of Goshen, New York, the seat of Orange County, New York, United States. It was designed by popular local architect Thornton M. Niven in a Greek Revival style, meant to be a twin of the one he had already built in Newburgh, which at that time shared seat duties with the larger city. Construction of the building was approved by the county legislature in April 1841 and began shortly thereafter.
The Clinton County Courthouse Complex is a historic county government and courthouse site located at 135 Margaret Street in Plattsburgh, Clinton County, New York. The main courthouse was constructed in 1889. It is a two-story, ashlar stone and brick Richardsonian Romanesque style building. It has a hipped roof and rock-faced arched openings. It features a large, square central tower with an open campanile and pyramidal roof. The associated Surrogate's Building was built in 1884–1885, and is a two-story, Italianate style brick building with a bracketed cornice with Renaissance style detail.
Southside Historic District is a national historic district located at Corning, Steuben County, New York. The district encompasses 624 contributing buildings, one contributing site and four contributing objects in a predominantly residential section of Corning. The district developed after 1835 and includes notable examples of Federal, Greek Revival, and Victorian architecture. Located in the district is the separately listed World War Memorial Library. The United States Post Office is a historic post office building located at Lockport in Niagara County, New York. It was designed and built 1902–1904, and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, James Knox Taylor. It is a three-story brick and limestone structure in the Beaux-Arts style. The United States District Court for the Western District of New York met here from 1904 until 1916.
Niagara County Courthouse and County Clerk's Office is a historic courthouse and county clerk's building located at Lockport in Niagara County, New York. The two buildings are located along Hawley Street, north and south of Niagara Street. The county clerk's building is a one-story, limestone office building constructed in 1856 in the Classical Revival style. The original section of the courthouse building was constructed in 1886 in the Second Empire style, with additions constructed in 1915-17 and 1955–58.
County and City Hall, also known as Erie County Hall, is a historic city hall and courthouse building located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It is a monumental granite structure designed by Rochester architect Andrew Jackson Warner and constructed between 1871 and 1875, with its cornerstone being laid on June 24, 1872. The building has four floors and features a 270-foot high clock tower.
Connecticut Street Armory, also known as the 74th Regimental Armory, is a historic National Guard armory building located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It is sited at Columbus Park. It is a massive castle-like structure built in 1899 of Medina sandstone. It was designed by architect Isaac G. Perry. It consists of a 3+1⁄2-story administration building with an attached 2-story drill shed all constructed of sandstone, lying on a rusticated battered stone foundation. The building features 4- to 6-story towers surrounding the administration building, and a 6+1⁄2-story square tower at the center entrance. It was the home to the 74th Regiment of the New York National Guard. Prior to its construction, the site was home to a 13.5 million gallon reservoir.
Villa Maria Motherhouse Complex, or Felician Sisters Immaculate Heart of Mary Convent Chapel and Convent, is a historic Roman Catholic convent located at Cheektowaga in Erie County, New York. It is included in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo. It was constructed in 1927, and is a three-part Gothic Revival building that was built for the Felician Sisters of St. Francis to house a boarding and day high school, public and private chapels and the Motherhouse/Novitiate. The school, known as Villa Maria Academy, closed in 2006. The school property was repurposed as affordable housing for seniors.
Duane Lyman (1886–1966) was an architect based in Buffalo, New York, known for his prolific career which included 100 school buildings, many churches, and numerous large homes both in the city and suburban communities. At the time of his death, Lyman was referred to as the "dean of Western New York Architecture."

It was built in 1871–72 and is a rectangular two-story building with 4 three-story towers, one on each corner. It is constructed of smooth, hard-burned brick of a red-pink color with decorative limestone features.
Old Madison County Courthouse is a historic courthouse and institutional building located at Morrisville in Madison County, New York, United States. It is a detached, two-story rectangular frame building measuring 42 feet by 88 feet with a full basement. It was built in 1865 and expanded to its present size in 1877. In 1910, the building was acquired by the State of New York for classroom space for the agricultural college established at Morrisville. It was renamed Madison Hall and used for classrooms, offices, laboratories, the gymnasium, and assembly hall until 1975.

Rockaway Courthouse is a historic courthouse located in the Rockaway Beach neighborhood of Queens County, New York. It was built in 1931, and is a three-story plus basement, steel frame and limestone, V-shaped building in the Classical Revival style. It consists of a tall central core with flanking courtroom wings. The front facade features an ornate Greek style entrance portico. It served as a local Municipal and Magistrate's Court and was last used as a civic building in 1962.
