Pyramid Peak is a mountain in the California's Sierra Nevada in the Crystal Range to the west of Lake Tahoe. It is the highest point in the Desolation Wilderness. With an elevation gain of almost 4,100 feet (1,250 m), the Rocky Canyon route is the mountain's most popular approach although it is very arduous. To the east, at the base of the peak, lies Pyramid Lake.

Strawberry Mountain is the highest peak in the Strawberry Mountains of eastern Oregon in the United States. It is the 30th highest point in Oregon. It is in the Malheur National Forest and is the most prominent feature of the Strawberry Mountain Wilderness.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Humboldt Peak (Nevada)</span>

Humboldt Peak is the southernmost high summit in the East Humboldt Range of Elko County in northeastern Nevada. To the west are First and Second Boulder Canyons, to the south is Pole Canyon and Secret Pass, and to the east is the South Fork of Steele Creek and Clover Valley. The summit is the end of a high crest running almost 10 miles (16 km) to the north, and the beginning of a slow descent to Ruby Valley to the southeast. The summit, the fourth highest peak in the range, is located about 16 miles (26 km) southwest of the community of Wells. The mountain is in the East Humboldt Wilderness and Humboldt National Forest.

North Schell Peak is the highest mountain in the Schell Creek Range of White Pine County, Nevada, United States. It is the ninth-highest mountain in the state, and also ranks as the fifth-most topographically prominent peak in the state. The summit is 19 miles (31 km) northeast of the community of Ely within the High Schells Wilderness of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest.

Mount Wilson is a mountain located in the Spring Mountain range of southern Nevada. It is located on land managed by the United States Bureau of Land Management as the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, part of the Rainbow Mountain Wilderness Area. It is the highest peak in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.

Aspen Butte is a steep-sided shield volcano in the Cascade Range of southern Oregon. It is located 15 miles (24 km) south of Pelican Butte and 15 miles (24 km) southeast of Mount McLoughlin. It rises over 4,000 feet (1,200 m) above the nearby shore of Upper Klamath Lake. Ice Age glaciers carved three large cirques into the north and northeast flanks of the mountain removing most of the original summit area including any evidence of a crater. The summit is now the high point along the curving ridge which bounds the southern edge of the cirques above steep cliffs.

Battle Ax is a shield volcano in the West Cascade Range of Oregon. The shield is mostly made of andesite. The summit, which can be reached via the Battle Ax Mountain trail, marks the boundary between the Mount Hood National Forest and the Willamette National Forest as well as the boundary between the Opal Creek Wilderness and the Bull of the Woods Wilderness.

Freel Peak is a mountain located in the Carson Range, a spur of the Sierra Nevada, near Lake Tahoe in California.

The Candelaria Hills are a mountain range in Mineral County, Nevada. The highest peak is Miller Mountain which was the location of "Borax" Smith's board-and-batten cabin where he lived when he discovered a rich borax deposit at nearby Teel's Marsh.

Pueblo Mountain is the highest mountain of the Pueblo Mountains mountain range, at 8,632 feet (2,631 m) in elevation. It is located in Harney County in southeastern Oregon, within the Great Basin region of the western United States. It is about 7.4 miles (11.9 km) north of the community of Denio on the Nevada border and about 37.3 miles (60.0 km) south of Steens Mountain.

Lime Peak is a summit in Cochise County, Arizona, north of Interstate 10 between Benson and Willcox and 6.6 miles (11 km) northwest of Dragoon, Arizona. It is one of three named peak in the Little Dragoon Mountains. Two of the peaks are named the Mae West Peaks since there appearance was thought to be reminiscent of the figure of the actress Mae West.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Fortification Hill</span> Landform in Mohave County, Arizona

Fortification Hill is a prominence adjacent to Lake Mead in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area; it is located at the northwest terminus region of the Black Mountains (Arizona), and specifically the north region of the Black Mountains. It is near a southern section of Lake Mead, and just northeast of Hoover Dam. It can easily be seen eastward across Las Vegas Bay or from the two northern mountain terminuses of Eldorado Mountains (Nevada), or the Black Mountains (Arizona).
