Seneca Presbyterian Church, also known as the "Number Nine" Church, is a historic Presbyterian church located at Stanley in Ontario County, New York. The original section of the church was constructed in 1838. It was widened in 1863 and the bell tower and front vestibule added about 1873. The church took its final form in 1889, with additional changes to the vestibule and interior decoration. The interior features a trompe l'oeil fresco depicting a succession of arched openings and rooms with coffered ceilings and checkered floors. Also on the property is the church cemetery and chapel or parish house. [2]

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. [1]

It features a large, two-stage square central projecting tower. The education wing was completed in 1957. The cemetery includes about 500 burials dating from the 18th to 20th century. The congregation was founded in 1787 and the present structure is its second building.

The church was active in founding West Liberty Academy in 1838, which is now West Liberty University.

Putnamville Presbyterian Church, also known as Putnamville Methodist Church, is a historic Presbyterian church on IN 243 in Putnamville, Putnam County, Indiana. It was built in 1834, and is a one-story, Greek Revival style brick church. A vestibule was added in 1953, and educational rooms added in 1961. The building was dedicated by the noted Presbyterian minister Henry Ward Beecher. It was sold to a Methodist congregation in 1861.
