Perrine's Bridge is the second oldest covered bridge in the State of New York, after the Hyde Hall Bridge in East Springfield. Once located in the hamlet called Perrines Bridge between 1850 and 1861. It is located in the modern day town of Esopus-Rosendale, New York just a few hundred feet to the east of Interstate 87 crossing of the Wallkill River in Ulster County, New York. Originally built to aid in the movement of trade between the towns of Rifton and Rosendale, the bridge is about 90 miles north of New York city between mile markers 81 and 82 on the New York State Thruway. In May 1834 the State of New York authorized and provided money ($700) to Ulster county, NY, to build the bridge. In 1835, the bridge was built by Benjamin Wood, the one-lane wooden covered bridge has been closed to vehicular traffic since 1930. The Bridge derives its name from James W. Perrine, a descendant of Daniel Perrin "The Huguenot", who was a tavern keeper that opened an inn on the east side of that future bridge in 1820. Perrine's son was hired each winter as the "snower". He would spread snow the length of the structure so horse-drawn sleighs could cross.
Caleb Smith State Park Preserve is a state park located in Suffolk County, New York in the United States. The park is near the north shore of Long Island in the town of Smithtown. Prior to its current name, the park was called Nissequogue River State Park, a name now used for park lands on the former Kings Park Psychiatric Center grounds. Previously, it was simply known as the Wyandanch Preserve.
Delaware Park–Front Park System is a historic park system and national historic district located in the northern and western sections of Buffalo in Erie County, New York. The park system was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux and developed between 1868 and 1876.
The Roslyn Cemetery is a historic cemetery located on Route 25A in the town of Greenvale, Nassau County, New York. It is owned by the Roslyn Presbyterian Church which is located within the Village of Roslyn. The Roslyn Cemetery is a product of the "Rural Cemetery Act" of which one of the many intents was to move burial grounds away from the local church and community as well as to design the grounds in a park like setting. This is clearly evident in the "Roslyn Cemetery" which is more like a botanical garden than a cemetery. Interments began in the 19th century and it continues to accept burials today. The cemetery has many notable figures as well as a section dedicated to fallen Civil War soldiers.
Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site is a historically important location in Jefferson County, New York, United States. The historic site is south of the Village of Sackets Harbor, bordering Lake Ontario in the Town of Hounsfield. Two battles were fought near this location during the War of 1812. Some 3,000 men worked at the shipyard building warships, and the village was fortified and garrisoned with thousands of troops.
The CCC Shelter, also known as the Combination Shelter, is a historic park shelter located at Pokagon State Park in Jamestown Township, Steuben County, Indiana. It is a stone and wood building and was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1935/36. Although a low, wide roof gives some protection against rain and snow, the shelter is open on its longer west and east sides. The north and south ends of the structure feature tall fireplaces built with large stones found within the park, individually hewn by the CCC workers.
Old Westbury Gardens is the former estate of businessman John Shaffer Phipps (1874–1958), an heir to the Phipps family fortune, in Nassau County, New York. Located at 71 Old Westbury Road in Old Westbury, the property was converted into a museum home in 1959. It is open for tours from April through October.
Greenport Railroad Station is the terminus of the Main Line of the Long Island Rail Road. It is officially located at Wiggins Street and Fourth Street in the Village of Greenport, New York, although the property spans as far east as 3rd Street and the Shelter Island North Ferry terminal.

The Flushing Armory is a historic National Guard armory building located in Flushing, Queens. New York City. It is a brick and stone castle-like structure built in 1905–1906, designed to be reminiscent of medieval military structures in Europe. It was designed by state architect George L. Heins.
Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Church Buildings is a historic Romanesque revival Roman Catholic church complex located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It is part of the Diocese of Buffalo.
Curtis Island Light, originally Negro Island Light, is a lighthouse marking the approach to the harbor of Camden, Maine. It is located on Curtis Island, which shelters the harbor from ocean storms. It was first established in 1835, and the present structure was built in 1896. The light was automated in 1972, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
Pumpkin Island Light is a lighthouse on Pumpkin Island, at the northwestern entrance to Eggemoggin Reach, a channel running northwest to southeast between Penobscot Bay and Blue Hill Bay on the central-eastern coast of Maine. The light station was established in 1854 and discontinued in 1933. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Pumpkin Island Light Station on February 1, 1988. The island and former light station are privately owned.
Lehigh Valley Railroad Station is a historic railway station located at Rochester in Monroe County, New York. The Lehigh Valley Railroad built the station in 1905 but stopped using the station for passenger service in the 1950s. Later the station was used as a bus terminal and then as a night club. In the 1980s the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places and today it houses the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que restaurant.
The Boardman House is a historic house located at 120 East Buffalo Street in Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York.
James Havens Homestead is a historic home located at Shelter Island in Suffolk County, New York. The house was built in 1743 and expanded in the early- mid-19th century. It is a large wood-frame building with wood-shingle sheathing, broad gable roof, wraparound porch, and rear wings. The main section includes a two-story, three-bay side-entrance-hall dwelling which was enlarged to four bays with a wide two-story, one-bay addition. Also on the property is a small wood-frame shed.
Samuel Hopkins House is a historic home located at Miller Place in Suffolk County, New York. It is a 2 1⁄2-story frame residence with an earlier 1 1⁄2-story wing on the east side. The main portion of the house was built about 1770 and remodeled in the Adam or Federal style in 1816.
Rye Town Park-Bathing Complex and Oakland Beach is a historic park and public beach located on Long Island Sound at Rye, Westchester County, New York. It is located next to the separately listed Playland Amusement Park. It was designed in 1909 by architects Upjohn & Conable and landscape architects Brinley & Holbrook. There are six historically significant buildings and structures; they are the Mission Revival style Bathing Complex. This includes the Bathing Pavilion and two shelters, a restaurant (1910), the Spring House, and the Women's Bath House (1925).
One Pendleton Place, also known as the William S. Pendleton House, is a historic home located in the New Brighton neighborhood of Staten Island, New York. It was built in 1860, and is a three-story, picturesque Italianate villa style frame dwelling with a multi-gabled roof. It features asymmetrical massing, a four-story conical-roofed entry tower, and multiple porches including a wrap-around verandah.
