Stuyvesant Falls Mill District is a national historic district located in the town of Stuyvesant in Columbia County, New York. The district includes six contributing buildings, five contributing sites, and two contributing structures. They are the industrial sites and power sources from which the adjoining hamlet of Stuyvesant Falls derived its livelihood. It includes the Upper and Lower Falls and mill dams; on the east bank of Kinderhook Creek the sites of a grist mill and paper mill, cotton mill, woolen mill complex and extant hydroelectric plant; west bank operations including three extant 19th century cotton mills and several dwellings. Also included is an iron truss bridge erected in 1899. [2]

Stuyvesant is a town in Columbia County, New York, United States. The population was 1,931 at the 2020 census, down from 2,027 at the 2010 census. The town is in the northwest corner of Columbia County. U.S. Route 9 crosses the southeastern corner of the town.

Mill Ruins Park is a park in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States, standing on the west side of Saint Anthony Falls on the Mississippi River and running from 3rd Ave. S. to about 9th Ave. S. Brown's Race Historic District is a national historic district located at Rochester in Monroe County, New York. The district contains 15 contributing buildings, 2 contributing structures, and 14 contributing sites. All of the principal buildings are used for commercial purposes and are sited along or near the curving south rim of the Genesee River gorge at the rim of the High Falls. The district comprises a collection of 19th-century industrial buildings built of brick and stone, and ranging in size from one- to six-stories. Also in the district is the mill race and the 19th century iron Pont De Rennes bridge, which is used today as a pedestrian bridge and viewing platform of the High Falls and surrounding gorge.

The district contains 174 principal contributing buildings including 14 contributing outbuildings, 8 contributing structures, 2 contributing objects, and 40 principal contributing buildings. The majority of the buildings are residential or commercial and located north of the New York State Barge Canal. The district encompasses a collection of brick and frame buildings exhibiting a range of mid- to late-19th century and early 20th-century architectural styles. A notable industrial site is the former Seneca Knitting Mills complex.

The district encompasses the archaeological sites of mills and small factories as well as the cluster of extant residences, shops, and public buildings which comprises the village center. The buildings were built between 1815 and about 1900.
Middle Mill Historic District is a national historic district located at New York Mills in Oneida County, New York. The district includes 31 contributing structures and one contributing site. It consists of a grouping of structures clustered in the vicinity of a large mill complex known as Mill Number 2 or the Middle Mills. In addition to the mill complex, there are two churches, rows of factory workers' housing, and a commercial block.
South Ann Street–Mill Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Little Falls in Herkimer County, New York. The district includes 15 contributing buildings and one contributing structure. They relate to the history of transportation and commercial/industrial development of the city. They include multi-story brick and stone commercial buildings, the former New York Central Railroad passenger station, remains of Erie Canal trunk and aqueduct, and a former hydroelectric power station and remains of the related dam.
R. and W. Scott Ice Company Powerhouse and Ice House Site is a national historic district located at Stuyvesant in Columbia County, New York. The district includes one contributing building, one contributing structure, and one contributing site. They are the remains of an ice house, the exterior walls and chimney of a powerhouse and the surviving features of a dock and bulkhead. The ice house measured 300 feet long and 200 feet wide and the foundation walls are two feet thick.

The Nashua Manufacturing Company Historic District in Nashua, New Hampshire, is a historic district that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1987. It encompasses an area just west of downtown Nashua, roughly located along the southern bank of the Nashua River, bordered on the west side by Mine Falls Park, on the south side by the Nashua River canal, up to Ledge Street, and from the east side by Factory, Pine and Water streets, up to the Main Street bridge.
The Salmon Falls Mill Historic District encompasses a historic mill complex on Front Street in Rollinsford, New Hampshire. The complex includes four major structures and seven smaller ones, on about 14 acres (5.7 ha) of land along the Salmon Falls River. They were built between about 1840 and the mid-1860s, and have an unusual architectural unity, for additions made to the buildings were done with attention to matching design elements from the existing structures. The Number 2 Mill, built in 1848, was an early location where a turbine was used instead of a waterwheel to provide power to the mill machinery. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
Readingsburg, also known as Stone Mill, is an unincorporated community located along the South Branch Raritan River within Clinton Township in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
The McCosh Grist Mill is a historic grist mill near Rock Mills in Randolph County, Alabama. The mill was built in the early 1870s, and is the oldest extant stone grist mill in Alabama. It was built by James Eichelburger McCosh, whose grandfather, Jacob Eichelburger, operated earlier mills that were similar to those in his native Pennsylvania. McCosh also owned 500 acres of farmland nearby, and later added a cotton gin to the site. The mill operated until 1958, and was purchased in 1970 by the United States Army Corps of Engineers as part of the West Point Lake reservoir project.
Star Milling and Electric Company Historic District, also known as Star Mill Falls and Star Gristmill, is a historic industrial complex and national historic district located in Lima Township, LaGrange County, Indiana. The district encompasses one contributing building, one contributing site, and two contributing structures. They are a small hydroelectric powerhouse (1929), two dams (1929), and the site of the original 1870 grist mill / hydroelectric generating plant. The old mill generated electric power from 1911 to 1929, and in 1930 the new powerhouse began operation.
