Mount Vernon is a city in Westchester County, New York, United States. It is an inner suburb of New York City, immediately to the north of the borough of the Bronx. As of the 2010 census, Mount Vernon had a population of 67,292, making it the eighth most populous city in the state.
Saint Paul's Church National Historic Site is a United States National Historic Site located in Mount Vernon, New York, just north of the New York City borough of The Bronx. The site was authorized in 1978 to protect Saint Paul's Church from increasing industrialization of the surrounding area. Saint Paul's Church is one of New York's oldest parishes and was used as a military hospital after the American Revolutionary War Battle of Pell's Point in 1776. The 5-acre (20,000 m2) cemetery surrounding the church is also within the historic site and contains an estimated 9,000 burials dating from 1704.
First United Methodist Church, also known as Chester Hill ME Church, is a historic United Methodist church at 227 E. Lincoln Avenue in Mount Vernon, Westchester County, New York, United States. It was built in 1900-1901 and is a Romanesque Revival style building. It is constructed of granite with limestone details and a red slate roof. It features an 85-foot bell and clock tower and multi-gabled roof. The interior features a semi-circular, amphitheater-like seating plan in the Akron Plan.
Mamaroneck United Methodist Church is a historic Methodist church located at 546 East Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck, Westchester County, New York. It was built in 1859 and is a one-story, Gothic Revival style building of wood frame construction with a gable roof. It is rectangular in form with a rear, two story, transecting wing built in 1869. It features a semi-engaged central tower flanked by stylized buttresses and topped by an octagonal spire.
Trinity Episcopal Church Complex is a historic Episcopal church complex at 335 Fourth Avenue in Mount Vernon, Westchester County, New York. It is two blocks south of its mother church, Saint Paul's Church. The complex consists of the church (1859), old parish hall (1892), new parish hall, and rectory (1893). The church, old parish hall, and new parish hall are connected to form an "L" shaped building. The church was designed by Henry Dudley and built in the Gothic Revival style and enlarged and substantially redecorated in the 1880s. It is a one-story masonry structure with a steeply pitched, slate covered gable roof.
US Post Office-Frankfort is a historic post office building located at Frankfort in Herkimer County, New York, United States. It was built in 1940–1941, and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, Louis A. Simon. It is a one-story, five bay, steel frame building on a raised foundation in the Colonial Revival style. It features a three bay central pavilion surmounted by a slate-covered hipped roof. The interior features a 1942 wood relief by artist Albert Wein titled "Growth."
US Post Office-Lake Placid is a historic post office building located at Lake Placid in Essex County, New York, United States. It was designed and built 1935–1936, and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department under Louis A. Simon. The building is in the Colonial Revival style and is a one-story, five-bay, steel-framed building on a raised foundation with a cast-stone watertable and clad in orange/buff-colored brick. The interior features a group of murals executed in 1937 by Henry Billings.
US Post Office-Malone is a historic post office building located at Malone in Franklin County, New York, United States. It was designed and built in 1934, and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department under Louis A. Simon. The building is in the Classical Revival style and is three stories in height with a five-bay, two-story entrance pavilion, one-story side wings and a two-story rear wing. It is of steel frame construction and clad in yellow brick trimmed with limestone.
US Post Office-Long Beach is a historic post office building located at Long Beach in Nassau County, New York, United States. It was built in 1936 and designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect under the direction of Louis A. Simon. It is a one-story, symmetrically massed building faced with red brick in the Colonial Revival style. It features a central five bay wide section with a gable roof, flanked by single bay end pavilions with gable roofs perpendicular to the central section. The lobby features a Treasury Section of Fine Arts mural by Jon Corbino titled The Pleasures of the Bathing Beach (1939).
US Post Office-Bronxville is a historic post office building located at Bronxville in Westchester County, New York, United States. It was built in 1937 and was designed by consulting architect Eric Kebbon (1891–1964) for the Office of the Supervising Architect. It is a 1+1⁄2-story building faced with brick and trimmed in limestone in the Colonial Revival style. The front facade features six extremely flat limestone pilasters that flank the central entrance. The lobby features a mural by John French Sloan (1871–1951) painted in 1939 and titled The Arrival of the First Mail in Bronxville in 1846.
US Post Office-Port Chester is a historic post office building located at Port Chester in Westchester County, New York. It was designed by consulting architects Zoller and Muller for the Office of the Supervising Architect, built in 1932–1933, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. It is a one-story symmetrical building faced with brick and trimmed in limestone and granite in the Colonial Revival style. The front facade features a projecting central pavilion with a shallow portico composed of two pairs of limestone Corinthian columns echoed by Corinthian pilasters. The lobby features four large murals and nine lunettes, designed by Domenico Mortellito and installed in 1936.

The front facade features a central, recessed entrance with broad limestone surround and shallow decorated cornice. The lobby features a mural by Guy Pene du Bois painted in 1938 and titled "John Jay at His Home."

It was built in 1937 and designed by consulting architects Schultze and Weaver for the Office of the Supervising Architect. It is a symmetrically massed red brick building containing limestone trim in the Classical Revival style. It is composed of a two-story central section with flanking one story wings. The front facade features a three-bay recessed limestone portico supported by a pair of tall slender Doric order columns. The lobby features two murals by Gordon Samstag titled "Law and Order in Old Scarsdale" and "Caleb Heathcote Buys the Richbell Farm."

It was built in 1938 by the Office of the Supervising Architect under the direction of Louis A. Simon. It is a one-story, symmetrically massed building clad with random stone ashlar in the Colonial Revival style. The entrance is flanked by fluted, engaged Doric order columns and pilasters which support a simple entablature. The slate roof is topped by a square, flat topped cupola. The lobby features a 1941 mural by Harold Goodwin titled "Early Days of the Automobile."
John Stevens House is a historic home located at Mount Vernon, Westchester County, New York. It was built between 1849 and 1851 and is a five-by-three-bay, 2+1⁄2-story, substantial frame farmhouse. It features a 1-story porch across the front elevation that incorporates six Doric order columns and a dentiled cornice. It was the home of John Stevens (1803–1882), founder of Mount Vernon.
Union Hall is a historic commercial building located at North Salem, Westchester County, New York. It is impossible to trace its original owner and the date it was built due to omissions in the Land Records Office in White Plains. It was built around 1848 in the Italianate style. It is built into the side of a steep slope and has a two-story front facade and four stories at the rear. It is a rectangular, wood frame building sheathed in unpainted clapboard. The building once functioned as a store, meeting hall, stagecoach stop, and residence. Also on the property there was a contributing carriage barn. However The Carriage Barn roof caved in due to heavy snows in January 1996 and was demolished in 2001. It is currently owned by Janis Menken.
North Salem Town Hall is a historic town hall located at Salem Center, Westchester County, New York. It was built about 1770 by the DeLancey family as a private home. It has been used for governmental and educational functions since 1773. It is a three-story frame building, covered in clapboard, five bays wide and three bays deep on a fieldstone foundation in a vernacular Georgian style. It has a gambrel roof topped by a six-sided cupola. From 1790 to 1884 it housed the North Salem Academy and, after 1886, the town offices of North Salem, New York.
Tuckahoe High School is a historic high school located in Eastchester, Westchester County, New York. It was built in 1930–1931, and is a three-story brick building with Aztec-inspired cast stone trim in the Art Deco style. The front facade is composed of a three-story, nine bay central pavilion, deeply recessed two-story, five bay connecting wings, and projecting, identical, two-story, five bay end pavilions.
