All 50 seats on North Hertfordshire District Council were up for election following ward boundary changes. [1]

Ward results

The number of seats on the council was increased from 48 to 50 and there were extensive ward boundary changes. The new ward arrangements allowed for the council to subsequently be elected roughly a third at a time rather than all at once. [1] The results for each ward were as follows.
