Camden Road railway station was the first station by that name in Camden, North London. Opened by the Midland Railway in 1868, it was immediately to the north of the 205 yard Camden Tunnels on the Midland Main Line and the first stop from St Pancras station.
In 1870 the North London Railway opened its Camden station, then called 'Camden Town', half a mile to the south west.. This should not be confused with Camden Town Underground station which opened in 1907. It was not until 1950 that there stopped being two 'Camden Town' stations, when the North London Railway station was renamed 'Camden Road'.
For a short period from 1878 and 1880, the MR operated the Super Outer Circle service through the station from St. Pancras to Earl's Court Underground station via tracks through Cricklewood, then using the Dudding Hill Line to South Acton and Hammersmith. [1]
The station was closed, as were others, in 1916 as a wartime economy measure, and was not re-opened. [2] The station buildings remained for many years before being replaced by a petrol station, and later by a car showroom.
Thameslink is a 24-hour, 115-station main-line route in the British railway system, running from Bedford, Luton, Peterborough and Cambridge via central London to Sutton, Orpington, Sevenoaks, Rainham, Horsham and Brighton. Additional services to East Grinstead and Littlehampton operate at peak times. The network opened as a through service in 1988, with severe overcrowding by 1998, carrying more than 28,000 passengers in the morning peak. All the services are currently operated by Govia Thameslink Railway.

King's Cross Thameslink station is a closed railway station in central London, England. It is located on Pentonville Road, around 250 metres (0.2 mi) east of King's Cross mainline station. At the time of closure, in 2007, it was on the Thameslink route between Farringdon and Kentish Town stations and managed by First Capital Connect.

Elstree & Borehamwood railway station is a railway station in the town of Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, England. It primarily serves Borehamwood as well as the nearby village of Elstree, 1.3 miles (2.1 km) to the south-west. King's Cross Central (KXC) is a multi-billion pound mixed-use development in the north-east of central London. The site is owned and controlled by the King's Cross Central Limited Partnership. It consists of approximately 67 acres (27 ha) of former railway lands to the north of King's Cross and St Pancras mainline railway stations. The site is largely determined by three boundaries: the existing East Coast Main Line railway leading out of King's Cross; York Way, a road marking the division between Camden and Islington boroughs; and the new railway line, High Speed 1 (HS1), formerly known as the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, which curves around the site to the north and west.

Haverstock Hill railway station was opened by the Midland Railway on 13 July 1868 when it built its extension to St Pancras station. It lay between Belsize Tunnel and Lismore Circus, and served Haverstock Hill, Belsize Park and Gospel Oak, London.
Finchley Road railway station was built by the Midland Railway (MR) in 1868 on its extension to St. Pancras. Situated at the north end of the Belsize Tunnels, it served the newly developed area of St John's Wood.
The Outer Circle was a London & North Western Railway service in London that operated from 1872 to 1908. The route was from the District Railway station at Mansion House to Earl's Court, then via the West London Railway to Willesden Junction and then via the North London Railway to Broad Street. Although not a complete circuit, it was one of several 'circle' routes around London that opened at the same time, such as the 'inner circle' that is today's Circle line. Trains would run once every 30 minutes. In 1908 the service was cut back to run from Earl's Court to Broad Street.
The Highgate Road railway stations were two adjacent but separate stations of the Tottenham & Hampstead Junction Railway in the north of Kentish Town, in St Pancras, London, now the London Borough of Camden. They were located on separate and parallel lines that joined east of the stations. The lines through both stations remain open.
