The William J. Rotch Gothic Cottage is a historic cottage on 19 Irving Street in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The Gothic Revival cottage was built in 1845 to a design by noted New York City architect Alexander Jackson Davis. It was built for William J. Rotch, a member of one of New Bedford's leading whaling families. It is for these two associations that it was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2006. It is one a very few surviving Gothic cottage designs by Davis, exhibiting features not found in the others that do. The house was included in The Architecture of Country Houses, published in 1850, bringing it early fame and making it an iconic example of the style.
The Isaac C. Lewis Cottage is a historic house at 255 Thimble Islands Road in Branford, Connecticut. Built in 1882, it is a well-preserved example of an eclectically styled Victorian seaside summer house. The house was included in the Stony Creek-Thimble Islands Historic District in 1988, and separately listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
The Pennington Cottage is a historic home located at Deer Park, Garrett County, Maryland, United States. It is a 2 1⁄2-story, late-19th-century Shingle-Style frame structure, with a gambrel roof and a one-story porch that stretches across the principal facade and along portions of the sides. The house is entirely covered with dark wood shingles. It was built as a part of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad's Deer Park Hotel complex, as the summer home of Baltimore architect Josias Pennington.
Dr. A. H. Allen Cottage is a historic cure cottage located at Saranac Lake in Franklin County, New York. It was built in 1909 and is a two-story wood frame structure clad in cedar shingles. It is a rectangular structure with a gabled roof, large shed roof dormer on the north end of the house, and non intersecting gables on the south end on both sides. It features a verandah and sleeping porch.
Baird Cottage is a historic cure cottage located at Saranac Lake in the town of Harrietstown, Franklin County, New York. It was built in 1930 and is a two-story, side-gabled Colonial Revival style house based on a rectangular floor plan with a two-story end porch. It sits on a concrete foundation and is sided in clapboard and asphalt shingles.
Colbath Cottage is a historic cure cottage located at Saranac Lake in the town of Harrietstown, Franklin County, New York. It was built in 1896 and is a 2 1⁄2-story, wood-frame building on a rubble stone foundation, clad in wooden clapboard and shingles in a staggered butt pattern, and covered by a multiple gable roof.
Drury Cottage is a historic cure cottage located at Saranac Lake in the town of Harrietstown, Franklin County, New York. It was built in 1910 and is a 2 1⁄2-story, frame dwelling set atop a cut stone foundation and surmounted by a gable roof clad in asphalt shingles. The front facade is dominated by a 2-story, three-bay cobblestone porch.
Notleymere (1885–89), also known as the Frank Norton estate, is a historic house located on the eastern shore of Cazenovia Lake in Cazenovia, Madison County, New York. The large, Shingle Style "summer cottage" was designed by architect Robert W. Gibson. It is a picturesque, asymmetrically massed, 3 1⁄2-story structure, sheathed in dark-stained wooden shingles and covered by a steeply pitched, multi-gabled, shingle roof. It features two tall, corbelled brick chimneys and a three-story polygonal turret.
Lane Cottage is a historic cure cottage located at Saranac Lake, town of North Elba in Essex County, New York. It was built about 1923 and is an "L" shaped frame structure clad in cedar shingles with a jerkinhead gable roof in the Shingle Style. It features an open gable portico with gracefully curved gable returns and a cure porch. It was built by Edward Shaw for his wife, who had tuberculosis. The Shaws had two young children; fearing that they would contract TB from Mrs. Shaw, a separate house was built for them, nearby.

It was built about 1903 and is a small 2 1⁄2-story, wood-frame dwelling sided in clapboard and shingles and covered by a cross-gable roof in the Queen Anne style. It features an open sitting-out porch under a second story overhang bordered by a round tower.

It features a cure porch on the second story above the entrance and in a shed roof dormer.
Merrillsville Cure Cottage, also known as Merrillsville Town Hall, is a historic cure cottage located at Merrillsville in the town of Franklin, Franklin County, New York. It was built about 1900 as part of a tuberculosis curing facility that also included a main lodge and numerous tent platform. It was moved to its present site in 1920. It is a small, rectangular one story frame building, sheathed in dark brown cedar shingles. It is topped by a gable roof with exposed wooden rafters. It features a full-width, glass-enclosed cure porch.
Benjamin C. Tousey House, also known as "The Willows," is a historic home located at Clinton in Dutchess County, New York. The property includes six contributing buildings and one contributing structures. They are the main house, a stone cottage with garage in the basement, a stone garage, a frame lodge, two frame sheds, and a gazebo. The main house was built in 1914-1915 and is a compactly designed, two story rectangular house with arelatively low pitched roof. The ground floor is clad in wood shingles and the upper floor in stucco and half timbers. It features a complex arrangement of balconies and terraces and is representative of the American Craftsman style.
Eleazer Hart House is a historic home located at 243 Bronxville Road in the Cedar Knolls section of Southeast Yonkers, Westchester County, New York. It was built in 1788 and is a Federal period residence. The building incorporates an earlier tenant farmhouse dating from the Philipse Manor era (1684–1783) and most likely dates to about 1760. The older house is a 1 1⁄2-story, three-by-two-bay building on a stone foundation. The main house is five bays wide on the first floor and three bays on the second. It has a gable roof and is clad in wide shingles, painted white. Also on the property is a 1 1⁄2-story, gable-roofed barn.
Stephen Harding House is a historic home located at Sea Cliff in Nassau County, New York. It was built in 1878, and is a 1 1/2-story, rectangular balloon frame vernacular Queen Anne style cottage. It has three small one-story additions. It features a replacement front verandah with turned spindle supports and decorative frieze and railings and fishscale shingles on the gable ends. The cottage was built during the period when Sea Cliff functioned as a Methodist camp.

The boarding house is a three-story, L-shaped frame building. It features a full width front porch and fishscale shingles. The property reflects the once popular recreational boarding house culture.
Brigadier General David McCarty Stone Cottage is a historic home located at Coeymans Landing, Albany County, New York. It was built about 1770, and is a 1 1/2-story, Colonial period stone dwelling. It measures roughly 20 feet by 40 feet in size and has a moderately pitched gable roof sheathed with 19th century metal shingles. It was the home of General David McCarty, who was an active participant in the events leading up to the American Revolution, served in the Continental Army and held numerous appointments in the post revolutionary era.
The Harold Hornburg House in Hartland, Wisconsin is a home designed by Eschweiler & Eschweiler to suggest an English cottage with a thatched roof, built in 1928. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 and on the State Register of Historic Places in 1989.
