Hanna-Barbera Cartoons, Inc. was an American production company, which was active from 1957 until its absorption into Warner Bros. Animation in 2001. Founded on July 7, 1957 by Tom and Jerry creators William Hanna and Joseph Barbera along with George Sidney, it was headquartered in Los Angeles at the Kling Studios from 1957 to 1960, then on Cahuenga Boulevard from 1960 to 1998 and subsequently at the Sherman Oaks Galleria in Sherman Oaks from 1998 to 2001.
The Huckleberry Hound Show is an American animated television series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions, and the second series produced by the studio following The Ruff and Reddy Show. The show first aired in syndication on September 29, 1958, and was sponsored by Kellogg's. Three segments were included in the program: one featuring the title character, Huckleberry Hound, another with Pixie and Dixie and Mr. Jinks, which starred two mice who in each short found a new way to outwit the cat Mr. Jinks, and a third starring Yogi Bear and his friend Boo-Boo. The series last aired on December 1, 1961.

The Berenstain Bears Show is an animated children's television series based on the children's book series of the same name by Stan and Jan Berenstain, produced by Southern Star/Hanna-Barbera Australia. It aired in the United States from September 14, 1985, to December 6, 1986 on CBS with 26 half-hour episodes produced. Reruns of the show would continue to air on the network until September 5, 1987. Each show consisted of two episodes, the first being an adaptation of one of the books, the second being an original story.
Endemol Southern Star was an Australian television production company made up of a joint venture between Australian production company Southern Star Group and its Dutch production company Endemol. On 23 February 2004, Southern Star Endemol changed its name to Endemol Southern Star with both names switching their places. In 2010 the joint company ceased to exist after Endemol bought Southern Star from Fairfax in January 2009. Following this, all programmes under the ESS name were credited to Southern Star.

He was the founding president of the World Lifesaving and International Life Saving Federation and a member of the President's Board of the National Council of Surf Lifesaving Association of Australia. In 1994, he became a member of the Order of Australia for his philanthropy, contribution to water safety as president of World Life Saving, and service to the publishing industry.
