The 2018 Florida Commissioner of Agriculture election occurred on November 6, 2018, to elect the Florida Commissioner of Agriculture. Incumbent Republican Commissioner of Agriculture Adam Putnam is term-limited and could not seek re-election to a third consecutive term. Democrat Nikki Fried faced off against Republican Matt Caldwell.
The Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Services is the head of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS). The position is elected by voters statewide and is one of four members in the Florida Cabinet. The eleventh and current commissioner is Democrat Nikki Fried, who took office on January 8, 2019.
