Oneida County is a county in the state of New York, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 232,125. The county seat is Utica. The name is in honor of the Oneida, one of the Five Nations of the Iroquois League or Haudenosaunee, which had long occupied this territory at the time of European encounter and colonization. The federally recognized Oneida Indian Nation has had a reservation in the region since the late 18th century, after the American Revolutionary War.

The Steuben Memorial State Historic Site is a historic location in the eastern part of Steuben, Oneida County, New York, that honors Baron von Steuben, the "Drillmaster of the American Revolution". The land in this part of Oneida County was part of a 16,000-acre (6,500 ha) land grant made to von Steuben for his services to the United States. He used the land for his summer residence, and is buried at the memorial, a "Sacred Grove".

Zion Church is a historic Episcopal church building located in Rome, Oneida County, New York. The church was designed by noted national church architect, Richard Upjohn, (1802-1878), built in 1850. It is a three-by-four-bay structure built of bluestone in the Gothic Revival style. Located adjacent is the stone "Clarke Memorial Hall" designed by local designer Frederick Hubbard and built a quarter-century later in 1884–1885.

Calvary Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal church building at 1101 Howard Avenue in Utica, Oneida County, New York. It was built in 1870-1872 and is an asymmetrically massed, cruciform plan structure with a rectangular nave and intersecting apse, with a substantial engaged corner tower.
Welsh Calvinistic Methodist Church, also known as Capel Cerrig, is a historic Calvinistic Methodist church on Prospect Street in Remsen, Oneida County, New York. It was built in 1831 and is a vernacular stone meeting house building. It is a simple two story, rectangular building with a gable roof. It is known locally as the Stone Meeting House, and is home to the Remsen Steuben Historical Society.
Holland Patent station is a historic train station located at Holland Patent in Oneida County, New York. It was built in 1890 and is a one-story, rectangular, wood-frame building sheathed in board-and-batten siding. It was built by the Utica and Black River Railroad, later acquired by New York Central. It was used until 1960 and now the line is used by the Adirondack Scenic Railroad.

It consists of a grouping of structures clustered in the vicinity of a large mill complex known as Mill Number 2 or the Middle Mills. In addition to the mill complex, there are two churches, rows of factory workers' housing, and a commercial block.

First Methodist Episcopal Church of Rome is a historic Methodist Episcopal church building located at Rome in Oneida County, New York. It includes the original brick and stone church building, completed in 1868, and the Ninde Memorial Chapel, added in 1910–1911. The church is a 2-story, three-bay-wide building with a spire and bell tower. It has a slate-covered gable roof. The chapel is a 2+1⁄2-story, four-bay-wide, red brick building on a cut stone foundation.
