Kothapet is a major commercial and residential suburb of Hyderabad, in Telangana state of India located around a strip of NH65. It belongs to Maheshwaram constituency of Ranga Reddy district.
Kothapet village was a gram panchayat until the passage of Government Order by the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh government wherein it was absorbed into the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority region thereby subsuming the municipality into the municipal corporation. [2] The merger of the village into the municipality was challenged subsequently in a petition to the Telangana High Court, but the challenge was quashed due to lack of merit. [3]
Kothapet houses one of largest fruit markets [4] in the state of Telangana, and is an upcoming real estate destination. [5] Owing to the congestion due to local businesses, it was proposed that the market in Gaddiannaram be shifted to Koheda. [6]
The locality is served by TSRTC bus stops and Chaitanyapuri Metro Station of the Hyderabad Metro Rail Red Line Corridor. [7]
Mangalagiri is a major Sub-urban of Vijayawada in Guntur district of Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The town is a part of Mangalagiri Tadepalli Municipal Corporation and part of Tenali revenue division. It and a part of Andhra Pradesh Capital Region. It is situated on National Highway 16 between Vijayawada and Guntur.

However, on 19 October 2012, the civic body of Khammam was upgraded to a municipal corporation. Post- upgradation to corporation, the population of Khammam was approximated to be 3,07,000.

Vijayawada( Vijay-uh-waw-duh), popularly known by its colonial name Bezawada, is the second largest city and commercial hub in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The city is part of the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region and is located on the banks of the Krishna River surrounded by the hills of the Eastern Ghats, known as the Indrakeeladri Hills. The city is home to the important Hindu shrine of Kanaka Durga Temple. It geographically lies on the center spot of Andhra Pradesh. Secunderabad is a twin city of Hyderabad and one of the six zones of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) in the Indian state of Telangana. It is the headquarters of the South Central Railway zone. Named after the Mir Akbar Ali Khan Sikander Jah, Asaf Jah III, Nizam of the Asaf Jahi dynasty, Secunderabad was established in 1806 as a British cantonment. Although both the cities are together referred to as the twin cities, Hyderabad and Secunderabad have different histories and cultures, with Secunderabad having developed directly under British rule until 1948, and Hyderabad as the capital of the Nizams' princely state of Hyderabad. Since 1956, the city has housed the Rashtrapati Nilayam, the winter office of the president of India. It is also the headquarter of the 54th Infantry Division of the Indian Army. There are also many apartments and residential areas, particularly in the small neighbourhood of Yapral.
Nizamabad or Induru is a city in the Indian state of Telangana. It is governed by municipal corporation and is the headquarters of the Nizamabad district. Previously part of Hyderabad State and then Andhra Pradesh state, Nizamabad became a part of the newly formed state of Telangana under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014. It is located about 186 kilometres (116 mi) north of the state capital, Hyderabad.
Kukatpally is a suburb located in the northwestern part of Hyderabad in the Indian state of Telangana. It is the headquarters of Balanagar mandal in Malkajgiri revenue division of Medchal-Malkajgiri district. It was a municipality prior to its merger into the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). Now it is the headquarters of "North Zone of GHMC".
Ranga Reddy district is a district in the Indian state of Telangana. The district headquarters is located at Kongara Kalan Village, Ibrahimpatnam Mandal,. The district was named after the former deputy chief minister of the United Andhra Pradesh, K. V. Ranga Reddy. The district shares boundaries with Nalgonda, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Hyderabad, Medchal–Malkajgiri, Nagarkurnool, Mahabubnagar, Sangareddy and Vikarabad districts.
