Mohammed Rafi was an Indian playback singer. He is considered to have been one of the greatest and most influential singers of the Indian subcontinent. Rafi was notable for his versatility and range of voice; his songs varied from fast peppy numbers to patriotic songs, sad numbers to highly romantic songs, qawwalis to ghazals and bhajans to classical songs. He was known for his ability to mould his voice to the persona and style of the actor lip-syncing the song on screen in the movie. He received six Filmfare Awards and one National Film Award. In 1967, he was honored with the Padma Shri award by the Government of India. In 2001, Rafi was honoured with the "Best Singer of the Millennium" title by Hero Honda and Stardust magazine. In 2013, Rafi was voted for the Greatest Voice in Hindi Cinema in the CNN-IBN's poll.

Srikanth Deva is an Indian music director of Tamil films. He made his debut as music director in the Tamil movie Doubles in 2000. He is the son of composer Deva, nephew of the famous music director duo Sabesh–Murali and the cousin of actor Jai. In 2023, Srikanth Deva was awarded the National Film Award – Special Mention for composing music for a Tamil short film called Karuvarai (2021).

Shilpa Rao is an Indian singer who primarily records songs in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages. During her college days, composer Mithoon offered her to record the song "Tose Naina" from Anwar (2007), marking her Hindi debut. "Abacha" from Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam (2009) and "Oru Maalai Neram" from Naan Mahaan Alla (2010) were her debut songs in Telugu and Tamil respectively.
Sri Rama Rajyam is a 2011 Indian Telugu-language devotional film directed by Bapu who co-wrote the film with Mullapudi Venkata Ramana, and produced by Yalamanchali Saibabu. The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nayanthara, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Srikanth, and its music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja, which won him Nandi Award for Best Music Director. Sri Rama Rajyam is a reboot of the 1963 blockbuster film Lava Kusa.

Main Nashe Mein Hoon is a 1959 Hindi film directed by Naresh Saigal. The film was the second of only two films distributed and produced by Varma Pictures, an affiliate of Varma Films.
Love is a 2004 Indian Kannada-language romance film written, directed and produced by Rajendra Singh Babu. The film stars Mohanlal, Aditya, making his debut, and Rakshita in lead roles, while Amrish Puri and Kota Srinivasa Rao feature in supporting roles. This was also Mohanlal debut in Kannada. Stree (transl. Woman) is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language comedy horror film directed by debutant Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Raj & DK. It stars Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, alongside Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee. The plot is based on the urban legend Naale Baa, the words meaning "come tomorrow" in Kannada and modified as o stree kal aana in the film.
