DSB, an abbreviation of Danske Statsbaner, is the largest Danish train operating company, and the largest in Scandinavia. While DSB is responsible for passenger train operation on most of the Danish railways, goods transport and railway maintenance are outside its scope. DSB runs a commuter rail system, called the S-train, in the area around the Danish capital, Copenhagen, that connects the different areas and suburbs in the greater metropolitan area. Between 2010 and 2017, DSB operated trains in Sweden.
Nørreport station is an S-train, metro and main line railway station in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located in the district of Indre By, and is named after the historic Nørreport city gate, at the original location of which it is located. It is one of the busiest railway stations in Denmark, serving 165,000 people daily. The entire station is underground, with three pairs of platforms: one for S-trains, one for main line trains and one for the metro. The station is located on the Boulevard Line of the S-train and main line network. Several bus lines run through and start from Nørreport above ground.
One-person operation (OPO), also known as driver-only operation (DOO), one-man operation (OMO), single person train operation (SPTO), or one-person train operation (OPTO), similarly to Driver Controlled Operation, is operation of a train, bus, or tram by the driver alone, without a conductor.
DSB class MZ was a series of 61 diesel-electric locomotives operated by Danske Statsbaner. They were built by NOHAB between 1967 and 1978 under licence from General Motors EMD with subcontractors Thrige-Titan and Frichs. There were four series of the locomotive built, designated I – IV.
DSBFirst was a railway company that operated rail franchises in Denmark and Sweden. It was a joint venture between Danish state railway operator DSB and British transport group FirstGroup. FirstGroup had a 25% shareholding in DSBFirst Denmark and 20% in DSBFirst Sweden and DSBFirst Väst. By March 2011 FirstGroup's shareholding in the Swedish divisions had increased to 30%.

Skolebakken railway halt is a railway halt serving the central part of the city of Aarhus in Jutland, Denmark. The station is located on the Grenaa Line between Aarhus and Grenaa. In 2016, the station was temporarily closed along with the Grenaa Line while it's being reconstructed to form part of the Aarhus light rail system. It reopened as such in 2017, and reopened for trams to Grenaa in 2019.
