Pottersville is an unincorporated community split between Bedminster Township in Somerset County, Tewksbury Township in Hunterdon County and Washington Township in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. The area is served as United States Postal Service ZIP Code 07979. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population for ZIP Code Tabulation Area 07979 was 589. In 1990, most of the village was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Pottersville Village Historic District.
The Gratz Park is a neighborhood and historic district located just north of downtown Lexington, Kentucky. It was named after early Lexington businessman Benjamin Gratz whose home stands on the corner of Mill and New streets at the edge of Gratz Park. The historic district consists of 16 contributing buildings including the Hunt-Morgan House, the Bodley-Bullock House, the original Carnegie library in Lexington, and several other private residences. Gratz Park occupies a tract of land that was established in 1781 outside the original boundaries of Lexington.
Brown's Race Historic District is a national historic district located at Rochester in Monroe County, New York. The district contains 15 contributing buildings, 2 contributing structures, and 14 contributing sites. All of the principal buildings are used for commercial purposes and are sited along or near the curving south rim of the Genesee River gorge at the rim of the High Falls. The district comprises a collection of 19th-century industrial buildings built of brick and stone, and ranging in size from one- to six-stories. Also in the district is the mill race and the 19th century iron Pont De Rennes bridge, which is used today as a pedestrian bridge and viewing platform of the High Falls and surrounding gorge.
The Maplewood Historic District is located in Rochester in Monroe County, New York. The district is distinguished as having landscape designs, including Maplewood Park, originally laid out by Frederick Law Olmsted.
The Skaneateles Historic District is a 17 acres (6.9 ha) historic district in the village of Skaneateles, New York that dates back to 1796, includes one building from the 20th century, but is otherwise composed of 19th-century residences and commercial buildings. It includes 59 contributing buildings and one contributing site – Thayer Park along Skaneateles Lake, – as well as five non-contributing structures. The district runs along both sides of East Genesee Street from Jordan Street to Onondaga Street, and includes the core of Skaneateles' historic downtown area, which was rebuilt in 1836 after being almost totally destroyed by fire in 1835. Also included are properties on Jordan Street up to the intersection of Fennell Street, and the stone mill property on Fennell Street.
West Stockholm Historic District is a national historic district located in the town of Stockholm in St. Lawrence County, New York. The district includes 27 contributing buildings and three contributing sites. The district encompasses the archaeological sites of mills and small factories as well as the cluster of extant residences, shops, and public buildings which comprises the village center. The buildings were built between 1815 and about 1900.
Beardslee Farm is a national historic district and farmstead located at Pittsfield in Otsego County, New York. It encompasses five contributing buildings, one contributing site, and one contributing structure. It consists of the farmhouse, dependencies, and a small family cemetery. The "L" shaped farmhouse is a large sprawling wood frame residence comprising three sections that reflects three separate building campaigns, ca. 1790, ca. 1800, and ca. 1810. The main section is a two-story, five bay building with a center entrance and a gable roof. Also on the property is a horse barn, carriage house, corn house, hop barn, and pump house.
East Main Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Richfield Springs in Otsego County, New York. It encompasses 57 contributing buildings, one contributing site, eight contributing structures, and one contributing object. The body of the district includes 33 historic residences, two historic boarding houses, a theatre, post office, a former hotel, and a church. Spring Park includes a contributing post clock (1918), set of semi-circular limestone steps, bandstand (1904), and cobblestone fountain (1931). Located within the district boundaries is the U.S. Post Office building.
Hubbell Family Farm and Kelly's Corners Cemetery is a historic farm complex, cemetery, and national historic district located at Kelly's Corners, Delaware County, New York. The district contains 19 contributing buildings, two contributing sites, and four contributing structures.
Sagaponack Historic District is a national historic district located at Sagaponack in Suffolk County, New York. There are 131 contributing buildings, one contributing site, and three contributing structures. It includes residences, farm complexes, agricultural buildings, the Sagaponack School, and the General Store / Post Office. Dwellings reflect residential development from Sagaponack's early settlement in the 17th century, Federal and Greek Revival style residences of the early to mid-18th century, popular revival styles of the mid- to late-19th century, and early 20th century American Foursquare and Bungalow styles,
Homan-Gerard House and Mills is a historic home and mill complex located at Yaphank in Suffolk County, New York. It is composed of a large Federal-style residence, four contributing related support buildings, and six contributing related archaeological sites. The house is a 2+1⁄2-story frame residence with a three-bay facade, gambrel roof, center chimney, and kitchen wing. Also on the property are three small sheds and a large 2-story, late-19th-century barn. Archaeological remains include that of the J. P. Mills Store and Homan-Gerard saw mill and grist mill.
Blydenburgh Park Historic District is a national historic district located at Smithtown in Suffolk County, New York. The district includes eight contributing buildings and one contributing structure. There are two groups of historic buildings: the mill complex and Blydenburgh Farmhouse and related buildings.
Warrensburg Mills Historic District is a national historic district located at Warrensburg, Warren County, New York. It includes 58 contributing buildings and four contributing structures. It encompasses a number of mill complexes and homes related to the development of Warrensburg. It includes a mill dam, Emerson Sawmill, grist mill, early shirt factory (1878), later shirt factory (1898), office building (1855), coal storage shed, grain warehouses, and 51 wood residences and one brick residence. Also within the district are the Osborne Bridge, and Woolen Mill Bridge.
Hamlet of Warrensburgh Historic District is a national historic district located at Warrensburg, Warren County, New York. It includes 351 contributing buildings, three contributing sites, and five contributing structures. It encompasses the historic commercial core on the north side of the Schroon River and historic industrial core on the south side of the river of the hamlet of Warrensburgh. It includes more high styled residences and notable civic and religious properties on the north side and vernacular residences on the south side. Notable commercial buildings include the Woodward Block, Wills Block, bank building at 138 Main Street, and the former Sturdevan's Bakery. Three historic churches within the district are the Church of the Holy Cross (1864), First Methodist Church (1904), and United Presbyterian Church (1840). Civic buildings located within the district are the Richards Library (1900) and Warrensburgh Central School (1942). In addition, the Floyd Bennett Park and Bandstand (1930–31), named for Warrensburg native Floyd Bennett, is within the district.
Onesquethaw Valley Historic District is a national historic district principally located at New Scotland in Albany County, New York. It includes 25 contributing buildings and three contributing archaeological sites. In encompasses farmsteads and sites in part of the valley of Onesquethaw Creek, a tributary of Coeymans Creek. Most notable are eight 18th-century stone houses. The archaeological sites are a grist mill site, sawmill site, and a prehistoric Indian site.
Readingsburg, also known as Stone Mill, is an unincorporated community located along the South Branch Raritan River within Clinton Township in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
The Asbury Historic District is a 288 acres (117 ha) historic district encompassing the community of Asbury in Franklin Township of Warren County, New Jersey. It is bounded by County Route 632, County Route 643, Maple Avenue, Kitchen Road, and School Street and extends along the Musconetcong River into Bethlehem Township of Hunterdon County. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 19, 1993 for its significance in architecture, industry, religion, community development, politics/government, and commerce. The district includes 141 contributing buildings, a contributing structure, two contributing sites, and four contributing objects.
