Ticonderoga Pulp and Paper Company Office is a historic office building located at Ticonderoga in Essex County, New York. It was built in 1888 and is a rectangular, two story structure of brick laid in common bond with a rectangular brick addition built about 1910. Both sections have gray slate gable roofs, white painted wood trim, and a denticulated brick cornice. The company was organized in 1877 by Clayton H. Delano, whose house is also listed on the register. [2]

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. [1]

The building now houses the Ticonderoga Heritage Museum which share the industrial heritage of the area with visitors. It is also the visitors information center for the town.

It was originally built for the manufacture of blank books, but was used almost immediately for a variety of purposes including a temporary school and shirt factory. It was converted for residential and commercial uses in 1981.

US Post Office-Ticonderoga is a historic post office building located at Ticonderoga in Essex County, New York, United States. It was designed and built in 1936–37, and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department under Louis A. Simon. The building is in the Colonial Revival style and is a symmetrically massed, one story brick building with a stone watertable. The slate covered gable roof is topped by a square, flat-topped cupola with Doric order pilasters. The interior features a 1940 mural by Frederick Massa titled The Exhortation of Ethan Allen.

Gale also constructed the houses in the Amherst Avenue Historic District.

Valley Paper Mill Chimney and Site United States historic place

Valley Paper Mill Chimney and Site is a historic chimney and archaeological site located at Alcove in Albany County, New York. It consists of the surviving 1844 Valley Paper Mill chimney and the site of the former straw pulp paper mill. The chimney is a rectangular brick tapered structure measuring 9.5 feet by 9.5 feet at its base and rising 110 feet. The mill was destroyed by fire in 1891 and the site leveled and filled. A significant portion of the site remains undisturbed from the time of the fire.

Ansco Company Charles Street Factory Buildings United States historic place

Ansco Company Charles Street Factory Buildings, also known as Agfa-Ansco, General Aniline and Film (GAF), and Anitec, is a historic factory complex located at Binghamton, Broome County, New York. They are two early factory buildings built in 1910–1911, and a warehouse built in 1953–1954. The larger building measures approximately 45 feet wide and 230 feet long. It is a three-story, rectangular brick heavy timber frame building. The powerhouse is a two-story, reinforced concrete and steel brick building measuring 60 feet square. The buildings housed manufacturing operations of Ansco for photographic paper.
