State elections were held in all states and territories in Malaysia except Sarawak on 9 May 2018, alongside general elections. [1] Pakatan Harapan alliance received over 50% of the vote across the 12 states and territories where elections took place and won the most seats. They emerged as the largest faction in all states and territories except Kelantan, Terengganu, Perlis and Pahang.

Ahmad Shabery bin Cheek is a Malaysian politician. He was the Minister of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry in the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition government (2015-2018), and sat in Parliament as the member for Kemaman, Terengganu from 2004 to May 2018. He represents the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO). He was elected to the Supreme Council of UMNO in 2009.
Azan bin Ismail is a Malaysian politician. He is a former Terengganu State Assemblyman for Bandar from 2013 to 2018 and Member of Parliament for the Indera Mahkota constituency in Pahang from 2008 to 2013. He is a member of the People's Justice Party (PKR) in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition.
Hasan bin Malek is a Malaysian politician. He was the Member of Parliament of Malaysia for the Kuala Pilah constituency in the State of Negeri Sembilan (2004-2018) and formerly the Ambassador of Malaysia to Cambodia. He was the federal Minister of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) party in Malaysia's previously governing Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition.

Reezal Merican bin Naina Merican is a Malaysian politician and banker who served as the Minister of Housing and Local Government in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob from August 2021 to the collapse of the BN administration in November 2022, the Minister of Youth and Sports in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin from March 2020 to the collapse of the PN administration in August 2021 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kepala Batas from May 2013 after the retirement of 5th and former Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi as the MP from politics to his electoral defeat in November 2022. Tan Kar Hing (simplified Chinese: 陈家兴; traditional Chinese: 陳家興; pinyin: Chén Jiāxīng; Jyutping: Can4 Gaa1 Hing3; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tân Ka-heng; born 4 May 1982) is a Malaysian politician from the People's Justice Party (PKR). He is the incumbent Perak State Legislative Assemblyman for Simpang Pulai constituency. Tan was formerly a Member of Perak State Executive Council (EXCO) for Tourism, Art, and Culture during the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition rules from 2018 to 2020.
