State elections were held in all states and territories in Malaysia except Sarawak on 9 May 2018, alongside general elections. [1] Pakatan Harapan alliance received over 50% of the vote across the 12 states and territories where elections took place and won the most seats. They emerged as the largest faction in all states and territories except Kelantan, Terengganu, Perlis and Pahang.

Ahmad Shabery bin Cheek is a Malaysian politician. These are the election results of the 2013 Malaysian general election by state constituency. State assembly elections were held in Malaysia on 5 May 2013 as part of the general elections. These members of the legislative assembly (MLAs) representing their constituency from the first sitting of respective state legislative assembly to its dissolution.

Reezal Merican bin Naina Merican is a Malaysian politician and banker who served as the Minister of Housing and Local Government in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob from August 2021 to the collapse of the BN administration in November 2022, the Minister of Youth and Sports in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin from March 2020 to the collapse of the PN administration in August 2021 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kepala Batas from May 2013 after the retirement of 5th and former Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi as the MP from politics to his electoral defeat in November 2022. He is also a member of the Supreme Council of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO). He is an ethnic Malay of mixed Indian descent.

Tan Kar Hing (simplified Chinese: 陈家兴; traditional Chinese: 陳家興; pinyin: Chén Jiāxīng; Jyutping: Can4 Gaa1 Hing3; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tân Ka-heng; born 4 May 1982) is a Malaysian politician from the People's Justice Party (PKR). He is the incumbent Perak State Legislative Assemblyman for Simpang Pulai constituency. Tan was formerly a Member of Perak State Executive Council (EXCO) for Tourism, Art, and Culture during the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition rules from 2018 to 2020. Tan was also former Vice Leader of PKR Youth Wing and is now acting as Vice Chairman of Perak PKR.
