737 Park Avenue is a prewar residential building on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York City, United States. Initially, the building had more than 100 apartments. The current capacity after renovation is 60 apartments. [1]
Built in 1940 by Sam Minskoff and Sons, the building was designed by art deco architect Sylvan Bien. [2] The building is made of traditional red brick with a limestone base, featuring a marble lobby and 24-hour doorman. The building is located on the corner of 71st street, within blocks of Central Park, The Frick Collection, and The Whitney Museum, as well as The Carlyle Hotel, also designed by Sylvan Bien. In 2011, 737 Park Avenue was sold to real estate developer Harry Macklowe, [3] who is currently developing the building into condominiums. [4]

The "pre-war" building's side entrance address is 71 East 71st Street.

Park Avenue Tower is a building on Park Avenue, between 55th Street and 56th Street, in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. The office building developed by Park Tower Realty opened in 1986 and has a height of 561 feet. Park Avenue Tower has 36 floors, which can be reached with seventeen elevators. Designed by Murphy/Jahn Architects in postmodern style, Park Avenue Tower is made of stone, steel and glass. The floor plan of the building is a square with flattened corners and the tower narrows as it increases in height. There is a pyramid-shaped structure on the roof of the building that is not visible from the street.
Tower Fifth is a skyscraper proposed for Midtown Manhattan in New York City. The developer, Macklowe Properties, has completed other projects including the redevelopment of the General Motors Building and construction of 432 Park Avenue. Plans for the structure were first revealed in January 2019, and the developer continued purchasing buildings to create an assemblage in 2019, closing on a building in March 2020, and continuing to eye buildings in June 2020. Demolition permits were first filed in April 2020.
